Mephedrone Megathread VIII: Hnnnng!

nah. i thought that to start off with, until i did some meph the other day that blew my bollocks off.

Cannot see that realistically madcat is a 'killer' - if that were the case by now the stuff consumed in UK would have amounted to a pile of bodies. That's not to say future probs. wont arise & that is not an invite to prove me wrong!!!!

There is im sure a level of addiction to it, but not in an opioid way - you just redose/fiend because u want to keep the nice buzz up!

Anyone with an update when the law will be clamping down?? My rumour is March?

Stay safe

I think the issue is what consequences you will face in the *long* run, so while there might not be a pile of dead bodies, as far as we know there might soon be a pile of bodies with weird phys/psych damage.

Your body is surprisingly good at withstanding shocks (smoking is a good example), but doing meph regularly could create effects that you only begin to notice at a much much later stage.

(that said, am totally playing devil's/angel's advocate, nevertheless personally will be very glad when this stuff is finally banned)

liquid drum and bass + mephedrone go hand in hand. random but true

Carry on.

It's times like these I wish I didn't have history of heart problems in the family...

I think it has truely fucked up my hands and feet. I've been getting weird cramps in them for a few weeks now.
my left foot has been feeling a bit numb with faint pins and needles.
It sounds like it could be nerve damage from lack of oxygen, due to vasoconstriction.

After having painful feet myself I did some research and found this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ischemia

Ischemia can also be described as an inadequate flow of blood to a part of the body, caused by constriction or blockage of the blood vessels supplying it.
...
Restoration of blood flow after a period of ischemia can actually be more damaging than the ischemia. Reintroduction of oxygen causes a greater production of damaging free radicals as well as allowing, via removal of the extracellular acidotic conditions, influx of calcium and thus calcium overloading. Overall this results in reperfusion injury which can result in potentially fatal cardiac arrhythmias, also necrosis can be greatly accelerated. Low doses of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) have been found to protect against regional myocardial ischemia–reperfusion injury.[1]

I'm really clever so after getting rid of all my meph I decided to have a 4 day MDPV binge without sleep. I've had 5 nights sleep since and, aside from a little caffeine, haven't taken any stimulants. My feet are still a little tender now, at one point I couldn't move my toes due to the pain, my hands have been ridiculously cold over the past week and I've woken up several times over the past week with numb hands.

This isn't just from one use though; since November I've taken approx. 40 grams of meph, 5 grams of M1 and about 700mg of MDPV.

The Kid said:
I must be the only fucker who doesn't find meph that toxic!
From what I know your meph usage is fairly spaced out and not too heavy. i.e. you're not being a dick with it. If you can control your meph usage then I expect you'll be fine using it occasionally. I've been forced to recognise that I can't control my usage; so I have to forgo it altogether.

Not good news at all. Looks like we are totally fucked if it is Ischemia.

A friend of mine (who does some kind of medicine/chemestry degree at UCL) reckons that a strong link will be found between Mephedrone and Arthritis in the near future, I don't 100% know why, something to do with blood flow but he said that he wouldn't be surprised if chronic users of it end up with pretty bad arthritis after a while.

Anyone here with experience on when to the "best" time to dose Methylone while on mephedrone? I have a gram of meph, and 350mgs of Methylone, and was wondering if I can dose the m1 a few hours into the meph(the stage where redosing barely works) or if it is best to start off with the M1 and go from there. Any imput is greatly appreciated.

^^To start the night out, or is it possible to take a bomb of meph/m1 at the same time to "regain" the high towards the end of the night. Some people have told me that taking m1 after a large dose of meph proves to be ineffective.

Only ever taken them in combo together at the start of the night and it makes them so much more the sum of their parts I wouldn't consider changing it about.

To start off with definately
Both times i've tried m1 have been during or after a meph sesh and both times i've felt next to nothing

^^Thanks that's what I thought...I am just trying to find a way to make a gram of meph last longer without having to take massive doses towards the end of the night...thanks for the help.

To the people who have had numb feet, pains etc..

Does the circulation get any better with time?

Or is it just game over?

Its been 4 days now and its making me so depressed, i just need to know if there is any hope of getting better.
