Right basically want to know how to reduce tolerance. Its got to the point now where really good stuff is at best "alright"
Now I know its never going to be like first time, but would like it to be good again. I have been rather silly as of late, so have I ruined it for myself forever?
Was thinking of doing the following.

.Complete stop on all stims (6months+ ?), reduction of caffine and alcohol
.Eating healthily, exercise, vitamin tabs (already do this)
.Possibly start taking 5-htp again, but have heard that it can sometimes increase tolerance if continued for too long?

Any thoughts or ideas would be great

Taking 5-HTP is no better than eating a high-protein diet. Most of it is metabolized in the perhiphery (outside the blood-brain barrier) before it goes anywhere.

Excercise, vitamins, lots of fluids and a high-protein diet are all going to help. 6 months of abstinence should also help a large amount, though I don't think the cathinone experience will ever be the same. There was a thread around here on amphetamine addiction that you may want to give a read - amphetamine and the cathinones are close together in terms of effects profiles.

Very interesting thread that one. Don't think cathinones are quite as addictive and the effects quite as bad as described there, but there are definite similarities.
Egg - we've talked about this elsewhere, but there's some good advice available here - check out the mephedrone addiction and mephedrone megathreads also, in EADD part of the forum.
Some of the stories from back in 09/10 and pics of people with purple limbs should also help put you off during times that you're tempted to delve back in!

Also make sure you're getting enough vitamins/minerals, particularly magnesium. Magnesium helps a lot more if you take it while you're taking the drugs, though, but it can't hurt to take that too.

Many thanks for the helpful replies, the thread on amphetamine addiction was certainly an eye opener, I could see things going badly if I carried on...

Now in terms of abstinence, is there a point where your tolerance will simply not get any better? For example I was planning to stop for 12months, but for example would my tolerance only go as low as it can after say 7months break?
I've been using for 3 years total - 1 year light usage (monthly), and 2 years pretty much 1 night every weekend (with random 1month breaks in-between).

Any more thoughts would be appreciated.
