No, I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be. Am an attendant Lord, the one that will do, to swell a progress, start a scene or two. Advise the Prince.

HA! Good luck organising a meetup Hamlet. You're gonna need it! Not even the threat of voodooism scared those little bluelighters into ALL turning up!
Someone suggested to me that meeting up BEFORE the event would be better and then all going in together. But the drawback with that is that people arrive at seperate times. Maybe you and I could work together wtih the next meetup?
Is Sasha playing at seven this Saturday night? I heard a rumour...

If there is to be a meet up, it needs to be at a more definite point..........Somewhere like cloakroom.......but then again, who knows where everything will be beforehand.
Hey, what's this about Sasha?????????
If you get any news bout him appearing, post all details........ALL DETAILS
PLEEEEEEEEEEZE
Anyone got any tips on how not to get knocked back from Seven????????

Maybe we should all wear a pink carnation...
:-)
I thought Paul Bleasdale @ Cream UK is going to be at Seven this saturday, but if Sasha is going to be making a special guest appearance then I'm going for sure!

Now don't let have started any rumours that aren't true. I'm not sure about Sasha playing at Seven myself. But there's only one way to find out... I'll let you all know!

Will there be a ferris wheel @ GC? It would be the easiest place to find. Cloak room would make a good meetup place if not. Sorry about missing u guys @ 2T but it seems I wasn't the only one. Hope y'all had good times. I had a blast!

Heyas,
Apparently from the reception I got once I got to the front of the line (at 9:15pm mind you) at Seven when trying to get in to see Judge Jules a few weeks back ("this will be a sell out event, so be early" -- my arse), you either have to be a good looking chick, or know a promoter and be on a guest list to get into a big event there. For JJ's night there, they had over 400 people on the guest list! So, consequently, they had to turn punters away until about midnight to see what kind of turnout they had, to "leave some headroom for the regulars". Makes sense I spose.
My brother, Raider, said that if you go there after 1:30am on a Thursday night/Fri morning, the place absolutely rocks, no knockbacks.
So anyway, I didn't see JJ play there

Obviously he was good... did anyone else see him? I finished up being shitty for half the night at getting KB'd. Ah well.
Peace.

Hi guys,
Newbie here. I have been reading this page for a couple of weeks, and I thought I'd jump on in.
Umm, Seven is a great club, but not ideal for a big international like Judge Jules or Sasha. If you want a good night, late Thursdays are great, or Sunday nights (Jason Digby as resident). Either of those get two enthusiastic thumbs up.
As for GC, count me in!! If you guys wanted suggestions for a place to meet (I might even join U, Blue glow-sticks was it?!) how about near the first aid tent. There will always be one, and it will be in an obvious spot. That or we should all wear "Fucking Trance" T's... like the one I saw at 2T which looked great!!
wink.gif

Bring on GC and a handful of fishies!

Hey anj,
Yes we should definitely work together on this meet up...however a few of my friends are wanting to go to the Offshore Festival (Endorphin is playing...mmmm...love Endorphin) which is on the same weekend as Gatecrasher!!!!!
AAAhhh to be or not to be that is the question...anyway anj email me or something and we will organize a meet up!!!
Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

ok, well firstly about admission into Seven and BigTrancer's statement...
Sounds like I'm guaranteed to get in. Can anyone guess what my reason is...?
wink.gif

Secondly, about the meetup...
A meetup at the first aid tent would be good because of the prominent position and unmistakability of bluelighters around it. The problem remains of dedication; everyone who actually TURNS UP to the meetings get there at different times. Even if the meetup is at 1.30 you can be assured that people will be going there at 2.10 and hoping to spot a bluelighter. Punctuality is obviously not a bluelight priority!
Perhaps we can attract them with a free biscuit each... for all those who turn up?!
Oh and mwah to Chaos...where ya bin baby?
(Hamlet, check your email!)

ok i gotta make the suggestion i made to anj a while back and she laffed at me
wink.gif
... we need a bluelight sign, even if its small, which can be stuck up so that BLighters can just hang around it and theres no great stress as to a particular time... am i mad?

That is a good idea johnboy...Chaos is back...going to Hard Kandy next week Chaos???I hope so cause I'll be there waiting for you in the shadow...hehehe...
No seriously though another good thing would be is every BL dyed their hair blue or something or wore a particular sign so we know

GODDAMN if only i still had blue hair!
i did
frown.gif
i really did... but now its back to boring old blak again *sniffle*
ah well.. there goes the blue hair idea hamlet! :P
damn u and ur sign thing johnboy! *grin*
the problem about meetups i think... is like the one at TT, i hung round fer about 5 mins before bolting off to dance again... see it was hard enuff to drag me OFF the dancefloor... i just think that meetups AT the venue won't really werk, cos everyone is so off their nuts.
i still hold to my mett BEFORE the party thing.... so everyone will just have to make an effort to b more organised and get somewhere a bit early, is it that hard?
it just seems to make much more sense to me if we want this meetup thing to work in the future.... we could all meet somwhere beforehand get all psyked togetha, maybe have coffee or something daggy like that, then all head off together to the party... that way at least we all know what we look like.... even if we do loose 1/2 the BL crowd IN the party...
well thats just my suggestion... but im just the social directors best friend... so what would i know?
smile.gif

SaSS.

I'm all for the sign idea does anyone know anyone at future entertainment, that we coukld ask to have a small spot to put a sign that would be maddness. great solution to the time problem, i remeber at 2tribes i had friends coming in at 5.30 in the morn.

Hey guys,
Speaking about Seven....
I think Seven is a great club, and I've been going since it opened, and became a promoter in December.
Before I became a promoter, entry was difficult. It was almost like one week we had trouble getting in and the next week I had a guest list, free drinks etc...
For Judge Jules, I had over 90 people on my list alone. And when we arrived at around 12, the bouncers were actually saying to all the people in the queue "not on the list, no entry!". It was virtually impossible to get in there without your name on the list, there were too many guests and members to account for.
However in my opinion, you didn't miss too much. Judge Jules was ok, but it was simply too busy in there. There was so many people, it was hot, the crowd was pushy... It was too difficult to enjoy the music with that amount of people there. And if I had payed $20 entry like most did, I would of been pretty annoyed.
Sometimes though, you can be on a guest list and still not get in... I've had a couple of guests turned back, the bouncers saying that I didn't have a list that night... So even being on a list is not guaranteed entry.
Seven is very exclusive, but if you really want to get in then just chat to the bouncers, if you are reasonable then you should have no problem.
All else fails, just go somewhere else... there's plenty around Melbourne!

Thanks for the reply Purposemaker... at least I know it wasn't just me that was getting KBd.
I've found Revolution to be really good, at the Palace in St. Kilday on Friday nights. It's small at the moment and has a lot of potential to be a great night, with residents like Rich
smile.gif
e and Nick Dem Q. But, of course, it's competing with Hard Kandy and Bass Station so it will be a long struggle.
smile.gif
The first night of Revolution with CJ Bolland playing live, Patrick Lindsey and WET Musik DJs rocked hard, and was the place I took my first e.
smile.gif

I guess this has gotten off the thread a bit though. However, I was wondering about the visual effect of a the liquid from a blue glowstick poured onto the ground for a BL meeting spot marker! I wonder if all the blue footprints would be a cool sign?
biggrin.gif
Cheaper than making a sign too...
Cheers.

Ahh BigTrancer...
Don't want to sound like I'm being a prick in correcting you...
But it wasn't actually the first Revolution, the first Revolution was in December last year, and had Gaetek and Adam Beyer play.
The Revolution party, V 1.0, which had CJ Bolland & Christian Smith was awesome!
smile.gif
Very impressed with Mr Smith.
The WET crew were good, although Will wasn't playing that night, however he was there to see Steve Douglas vs Patrick Lindsey. Simon Digby had a great set that night, I was very impressed with it! And I believe Nick Dem Q was pretty damn good as well...
