I have chronic tinnitus, 24/7 varying pitches of ringing in one or both of my ears. My ENT will not do anything for me and suggests that I "get used to it" because there is no cure for tinnitus. This is really affecting my life and causes me anxiety and sometime the inability to get to sleep at night. Cannabis gives me relief from the ringing in my ears as well as calming my anxiety and helping me to get to sleep. I live in Northern California and there are doctors offices that advertise in the local paper that they prescribe medical marijuana for $150. What do you guys think my chances are of getting a prescription for tinnitus? I don't have cancer or any other serious diseases. I don't want to spend the $150 if I am going to get turned down.

Your physician can give you a 215 certificate for anxiety. They will give you a form asking why you think you should have medicinal cannabis, and you are to state all physical or psychological problems in which cannabis helps.
