Mecke Test Results .... MDMA?

Hello, I just did the mecke test on these somewhat translucent crystals I got and got this as a result. It pretty much went black however if i let it drip down the page and looking at it in bright light it left a very very dark red streak. But when it just sat in the mecke it looked black. Is this MDMA?

Can't see your pic, but that does sound like a potential MDxx + Unknown reaction.


The mecke test really is not good enough for testing MDMA, the reaction is so violent if there is a small cut of another substance like meth the reaction will be almost completely covered up. The marquis is the best reagent for identifying multiple chemicals in the same sample

Thank you. The person I got it from said it was like 85% MDMA and like 15% methylone or something so maybe that would make sense I guess

Ah really thats no good? Cuz by my town theres only straight up mephedrone being sold as molly so I figured this seems a lot better. Its only a 0.2g and I was gonna start with 0.12 and boost .04 an hour after. First time with mdma btw ive only done meph 4 times too and nothing else besides that

If its your first time with MDMA why not wait for a clean sample so you can fully experience what MDMA can offer?

Well now I just tested it on a ceramic surface because I was doing it on paper (if it makes a difference) and it went blue/green with some red. I think it is mdma and methylone. Oh well its hard to get pure mdma around ny its all cut but hopefully its good

I know I know haha. But like I said I tried two more tests on the ceramic surface instead of paper and it came up blue/green each time so I'm assuming isn't that what MDxx comes up as on mecke?

Not really dude... as I said before the mecke test is not sufficient for identifying multiple substances.


and an MDxx reaction should be VERY intense, blue/green hues can show around the edges but it should be so dark it appears almost totally black
