Mdma + Pma or false warning? (or different pill)

Hey there,

i need help with the interpretation of a pill testing. Since there is an active warning about a identically shaped pill http://www.pillreports.com/index.php?page=display_pill&id=33741 there is a lot of insecurity about it. Long sentence short - i don't trust my test-knowledge. Normally it would have been kicked in the trash but because of the different dimensions of this pill (and other dimensions on the drugchecking-site) i hesitate. As pillreports isn't a social forum i think it's ok to ask about this in here.


Like i said in the beginning, i'm confused because it's about 3,5 mm thick,about 9,5mm in diameter and about 335mg in weight (and not 7mm/2mm like the one with the active warning) Broken into half crystalline shards are to be seen. It's been checked with marquis & mandelin. Both reactions looked like they are supposed to look imho. Marquis went straight to deep purple/black within ~5 Sec. Mandeline went (without any delay, max. 2 sec) to black/deep blue with purple shades where the substance went thinner on the plate, although after a while the liquid went brown(ish). Nice results but.. nevertheless there's kind of a creepy feeling because of the "pma is hard to find under mdma"-thingy. The second picture is the mandeline reagent with a detailed look.

Welcome to bluelight theoldman. Those results indeed look quite normal. However if you look at other reports on clovers/shamrocks you can clearly tell they are different pills than you have. The pill in the warning on the other hand looks exactly like yours. I would tread very carefully. Perhaps if you have a lot of them and don't want to toss them right away you could send one off for testing? Pillreports can send out one pill each month for free testing, perhaps you can inquire if your pill could be sent as this months free test? I would be very interested to see lab results on these because the warning doesn't say if it's trace amounts of PMMA they found or a dangerous dose...

Thank you very much for your answer and your offer. This is exactly why i hesitated to do sth about it. And on the other hand i'm walking around way to long to just "try it" :D Indeed i really would appreciate this possibility you mentioned. In which way can i participate in this? EDIT: I forgot to emphasize, that there a not "a lot" - i really don't want to make a "certain" impression. I'm just a man wanna have some fun, safely as possible.

I'm not affiliated with pillreports so I have no idea actually. I just know they have (or used to have) an agreement with a test center - ecstasydata I believe it was - that they could send one pill of their choosing each month for free testing (costs a lot of money normally to have one tested). I don't even know if they still do this

You could try to PM a pillreports moderator and inquire about this. In the past if a user wanted to take advantage of the free testing they would receive a code from pillreports that they had to mention when sending out the pill, so the only thing you would have to do is send out the pill

You are very welcome. You have a good attitude when it comes to drugs, playing it as safe as possible, keep doing that! Ok, got some information (although not the one i'd love to have).

I contacted pillreports but unfortunately i didn't get a response - but i think they have enough things to do and will answer if they have the time.
I also contacted one one of the drug checking sites and asked politely if they had any other information about the tested pills in Luxembourg. Unfortunately there is no qualitative analysis of the pill. The quantifiable components were traces of safrol, mdma "a lot" - seemingly very high effect in doses of 1/4) and pmaa in "low doses". According to this post http://www.bluelight.org/vb/threads/91556-PMA-amp-MDMA-a-new-look-at-an-old-devil it sounds logical to have those three components in a pill after an impure reaction - but i'm not a chemist and might got this wrong. What makes me wonder is (since i think that most of the available mdma might be produced under "not so clean circumstances") that i think that pmaa should be measurable in every tested pill if there was safrol in the beginning. Argh - chemistry, the oldman and her never were very close (you know..lol, in academic relation i mean). Never the less, it doesn't change a bit concerning the handling of those pills - with care.
