My first candyflip took place at countdown2001 in the bronx! To give you a little background on past experiences, I've tripped twice before off one hit of liquid each time...and I've rolled four times before off of five pills total. Before this candyflip, I hadn't rolled in 2.5 months, and my last trip was four weeks ago.
I took two wildwood blotter hits at 11pm, right before I got into the party. I walked into the party around 11:30pm, and that's when I started to trip. Since I never had a chance to check out the venue while I was sober, it became extremely confusing right off! My group started to walk around through all the people and lights, and I was going nuts in my head. I didn't expect the acid to be so strong because I got it from a new source; however, I was totally wrong. I found it to be stronger than the liquid that I used before...I know I took two hits, but I could tell it was stronger.
Anyways, my group consisted of five other people...K(rolling), E(rolling for first time), J(rolling), S(sober), and M(candyflipping for first time). The party was really going off at this point, and so was my trip. We moved into the main room while someone was spinnnig some bomb trance! I wasn't ready to dance cuz I was trying to get myself sorted. I was looking at everything! There was a painting on the wall of some people...and I saw something out of the corner of my eye, so I looked at the painting, and the people were all moving! The lights in the main room were tight. There was a green lazer than kept dividing up, and I kept trying to grab it. I planned to drop my e two hours following the cid.
Everyone that was rolling had started rolling long before 1am(my e time), so they were all happy and stuff. I could not keep track of time starting around midnight, and my trip seemed to be going nuts still...like it was getting more confusing...more movement, etc. J actually had to tell me when to take the e cuz I had no clue. It was pretty freaky dropping e when I was tripping so hard! After I dropped the e, I couldn't remember if I did it, so I kept asking my friends if I already dropped. They must have thought I was a weirdo! I also missed the bluelight meeting cuz I was pretty smashed at this point.
At exactly 1:23(hehe), I noticed a sudden change in my head...like I felt a wave of relaxation. I couldn't quite figure out what was going on, but I got the vicks inhaler from J, and I realized I was rolling when I tried it. From that point on, my trip/roll intensified a great deal. I had to sit down for a while cuz I was so overwhelmed by my visuals and body feeling...extremely good! I kept asking my friends if I was okay because I felt so wonderful! I loved shutting my eyes, but I was afraid that I'd get too far from reality when I did that.
Finally, I got up off the ground, and we moved to another room. We went to the room where venom was blowin things up! The room also had a glow to it, and I was all amazed when we walked in. At this point, I started seeing sounds coming from the speaker...it's really hard to describe...but it was kinda like that winamp program that has those jagged colors go to the music. Anyways, I was just amazed with the whole thing. The music seemed to be controlling my visuals, but the visuals seemed to control the music...it was kinda like sight and sound combined for me or something. This combo of sight and sound blew up the e feelings a lot...man, that hard house was so good! It wasn't like I was happy how I normally feel when I roll, but it was extremely euphoric! I didn't feel like I loved everyone, but I loved the beauty of the rave. It's really hard to describe this. I'm usually really social on e, but I'm not social on acid, so I think the acid was controlling the candyflip a little more than the e, as I had no desire to talk to people I didn't know. I still couldn't dance for some reason, and I could barely talk when I tried to. People kept asking me where different rooms were and stuff, but all I could tell them was that I had no clue. I couldn't understand them most of the time anyways...hehe.
My vision was so wack at this point, about one to two hours after dropping the e. The e was making my eyes move all over, and the acid was making everything move, so I could never focus on anything. People were leaving shadows everywhere they moved, and I was so overwhelmed, but so amazed with it all at the same time. We all moved into the jungle room...phat as hell! We had to walk through this hall with streamers, and I was having so much fun even though I couldn't talk or anything! I watched the dj spin for a while, but I had to sit down again. I started to feel a little more e body feelings at this point...mainly when someone touched me. I couldn't tell that I had e body feelings when I wasn't being touched cuz the fry makes me feel kinda separated from my body. I got some wonderful massages! Glow sticks and photons were off the shizy as well!
Around 5:30am, I think my e started to wear off, but it was really hard to tell cuz I was still tripping really hard. I like how I couldn't tell that I was coming down from the e due to the acid. I normally get a little sad when I realize I am coming down from e, but not this time! We went back to the main room for that last bit of the party while someone was spinning hard as hell trance! I checked out all my toys...and my white, fuzzy bear backpack was hella rad! It kept turning pink, and the hair was growing up around the bear's eyes...hehe. We left the party at about 6am to catch a subway.
Being in public was kinda strange, but I handled it pretty well. I kept getting the urge to stare at people. Eventually, M and I caught the shortline home. I saw this shopping cart on the side of the road in the city, and I thought it was a wolf trap with a wolf in it! I told M what I thought, only to realize that there are not wild wolves in nyc. I tried to sleep, but I kept getting awake dreams. Coming down off this combo is kinda rough in my opinion because the acid gave me a little bit of a headache that was topped off by the fuzzy-headed feeling I get after a roll. Anyways, it was a very good experience...quite overwhelming, but really amazing! I will definitely do this again because I loved how the two drugs affected each other. They really meld well! I hope this report is good reading...enjoy!
