"MDMA" - Help identifying from marquis 'no change' result

I'm looking for help identifying something that claimed to be MDMA. It looks like MDMA- small crystals but whiter than normal. A real pure white.
Tastes foul, but not the distinctive bitter, battery acid taste of MDMA.
Results of small test - felt happy but not euphoric. Music sounded good, and danced all night but wasn't full of energy, and dancing was a bit of an effort. But also felt really nauseous and this lasted all night :-(
Got a marquis test to check it out as it clearly wasn't quite what it was supposed to be. Got no colour change at all. But fizzed a bit and there was a bit of vapour.
Any ideas? Wondering whether it might be BZP?

I'm afraid nobody will be able to tell you what it was. We can't even speculate because it's not allowed here and because there was no reaction at all. It could be absolutely anything except for MDMA, which should be enough to make you throw the stuff out. If you sampled it and it appeared to be active that means that it's some unknown drug with potentially far-reaching consequences. Throw it away, it's not worth the risk, there's too many harmful substances out there

Gutted to have been stung with nasty unknown rubbish... But I have learned a lot this week in trying to research it and on the plus side I've learnt all about test kits. Guess I'll have to put this one down to experience and I'll be a little wiser next time!

That's the absolute best way to deal with something like this. Seems to me you are a responsible user. Try to always approach drugs with that attitude and it will spare you a lot of trouble along the way. Have fun and be safe! (sounds cliché but it is true nonetheless)

Sounds like pipes especially the battery acid taste. MD should not taste like that most pipes however do and will just fizz to the marquis.

If you really want to know what it is, I'd suggest you hang onto it. Use every reagent in the tester's arsenal (marquis, mandelin, mecke, simons, erhlich [probably not useful here lol], etc.) whenever you get a hold of any. Keep it sealed and frozen (if possible) in the meantime.

If you are ever so curious as to be willing to pay money, hold onto it until you can either perform a higher resolution analysis or send it in to be tested. You can infer from the marquis result that is *not* many things, but as someone already said, other than that, there's not much more that can be said.

Otherwise, sounds like tossing it out works

Hi again,
So I got my full test kit today so decided to test the rubbish I got landed with. But still not sure how to read the results...
Marquis- very slight colour change to a pale yellow
Mandolin- bright ochre yellow
Mecke - slight colour change to grey/khaki
Simon - immediate bright blue
Roba - no colour change at all
So doesn't look like piperazines. PMMA?? Methedrone?? methamphetamine??
I know no one will be able to say for certain what it is. Maybe a mix? I'll be binning what I have left but I'd just like to warn others around here what is getting passed off as MD.
