one pill of E, first time, best drug I ever took

well what can I say. bunch of friends and myself decided to pop some pills and chill out in our flat. it was amazing. i took one pill at a cost of 3 quid, in the uk. didn't take any more because i'd never experienced the drug before so was a little nervous, just wanted to try it out.

the most obvious thing I found during the experience is the simple fact: you do not understand pills until you take them. there is no drug like it. there is no way of explaining it.

I was a bit paranoid at first, we were smoking weed in a room, watching family guy and playing civilisation 2. my mate had a bag of pills, i bought one off him, and washed it down with water.

the effects took about 1/2 an hour to appear, after which i was lifted into a pleasant, euphoric trip. I'd describe the experience as being something like the first initial wave of shrooms (where you get the "lift") for 10 hours and about 3 times the intensity, with something else thats different

I'm coming down now as i type this, but its slow and gentle. listening to ltj bukem whilst staring at the visualisation stuff on my pc (winamp), thinkin of raves and stuff. will certainly be taking pills at some point in the future. need to get myself to one of those parties, cos I can imagine how amazing that would be now that I know what this drug does.

course, it'll have to be done in moderation, i've got no intention of devloping a habit.. my weed habit serves me fine. e for more seems like a good thing to take every now and then for a special experience

just thought i'd add another trip report to the stack :)

Cool.. Your report doesn't have too much content as far as the actual experience, feelings, and such. Care to share more about what you felt? Personally, I find MDMA rather dull and very explainable. I love the feeling of it, but as far as the intensity of psychedelic nature goes, it is very weak. MDA is more my type when it comes to entactogenic drugs. Mushrooms, LSD, LSA, various research Tryptamines and Phenethylamines, Salvia, and even Cannabis are much more interesting for me. They provide way more intense psychedelic experiences, visuals/visions, spiritual experiences (not saying that MDMA/MDA couldn't, but I tend to allow myself the freedom to experience these under completely organic substances rather than synthetic/semi-synthetic), and a general intensity when it comes to psychological thought. MDMA is too "comfortable" and happy for me. I don't care for the mood push as much.
 
Lucky you. I also took my first roll (mdma) last night. Me and a good friend of mine had one each. We got em from an experienced user of the pill we knew. When the dealer came over to drop em off he had a friend who was rolling hard off two of the same pill (called pink gators). To make a long story short we sat around for most the night waiting for em to kick in but they sadly never did. We are going to try again next week with a larger amount and stronger pills.
 
I'm back now.. it was quite an interesting weekend. The pill taken on Friday night kept me up until Saturday night. That was definately the best experience. I'm not sure what happened really - the effects of the pill are only supposed to last 4 hours from what I read on Erowid, but it seemed to last about 12 hours. Perhaps there was a placebo effect that caused me to enjoy the comedown?

I dropped a 1/2 and went out clubbing on Saturday. Coming down off the 1/2 was pretty harsh, we were in quite a cheesy venue, and the music was terrible. The comedown made me feel pissed off. Going back to a friend's house and smoking some weed really helped to mellow it out. After this I went home and stayed awake until about 7:00am. Woke up feeling very physically but not emotionally drained, a lot better than I exepected though. Today the "hangover" effect seems to have worn off, but I'll report anything unusual if it happens later.

I guess that I wrote this while under the influence. Looking back I'd say that cannabis is definately a better drug, ecstacy on the other hand is a completely different ballpark. The experience is far more intense, both physically and spiritually. What did I like most? The increase in awareness and understanding of those around you, and what it does to music.

Concerning the pill itself, it was round, white (no speckles) and had a butterfly on it. I think it came from Liverpool. Whether it had any MDA in it, I'm not sure. It was a good pill though, my more experienced friends were very pleased with the quality.

Sorry for posting a crap report. I was really gurning at the time, LOL :D
