Experiences with Ecstasy: Prior to this experience, I have only taken MDMA 3 times and I hadn't taken it for near 3 months before this. I had never taken MDA.
Dosing:
My Dose: 55mg MDA / ~50-75mg MDMA
Becca’s Dose: 110mg MDA
Mike’s Dose: 110mg MDA
I had 450mg of MDA which I weighed out into 4 ~110mg doses. To conserve the pure MDA I took one half of the MDMA pill, crushed it, and added it to half of one 110mg dose. Everyone else got pure MDA
MDA Purity(Molly): The source which I procured this molly MDA from is well known and respected. It was assured to be pure. After all it had been passed through many purity tests. From gas chromatography to the regular marquis reagent tests.
MDMA Purity(Pressed Pill): The pill was sold as a “red Christmas tree”. The only reason I bought the pill is because I witnessed 3 other people drop this pill and they all indeed had a wonderful roll with no bad effects.
Setting:
We were all sitting around in the living room of Becca’s apartment, which other than for a few moments outside enjoying nature was the main spot we stayed in for the entire night.
Trip Report:
(T –5:00) Having pre-planned several instances where a group of my very close friends would be partaking in ecstasy for the first time, I was ready. It was a Tuesday afternoon after I had completed my move in to my new dorm room. I had been looking forward to this night for weeks now and the excitement was growing by the minute. We had a few hang-ups when decided who was going to dose and who wasn’t. In the end it was my ex-girlfriend (we’re best friends), her boyfriend, and Me. We’ll refer to my ex as Becca and her boyfriend as Mike
(T 0:00) We dropped the pills at 10:15PM. I remember thinking (as I always do) “Oh my god I can’t believe I took this”. I’ve always had to work myself up even to take the pill because of how amazing the experience is. To me, it’s like preparing yourself to walk into the presence of the divine. And following indeed is exactly what happened.
(T 0:25) I begin the feel the characteristic feelings of being “off” and the pure rush afterwards. I look at my friends, sitting on the couch, and say “Get ready for this, you’re about to understand love on an entirely different level”. I could tell that Mike was feeling the same thing I was. Instinctively I kept looking at their eyes. You just know when someone’s rolling even if their eyes are not incredibly huge. This being Mike’s first time with any drug other than alcohol I could definitely tell he was in “ecstasy” and loving it.
(T 1:00) Becca finally feels the effects. As I’m rolling I had already broken out the glow sticks and set them down on the carpet. I looked at her. Her eyes widened. And all of a sudden she says “The glow sticks are becoming part of me”. She described the glow of them as love. This love was beaming off of them and entering her. At this point I had to put the glow sticks in my hand and tell her to look at me. She says “oh my god, I’ve never felt anything like this before”. Soon after she calls her sister who had been wanting to roll. She described the feeling as “You know the first time you tell someone you love them, well this is exactly what it feels like except better”. That set me off big time because if you think about it, she’s exactly right.
(T 3:00) We’re all still rolling quite hard. My MDMA was beginning to die out and the MDA was still going full strength. I had something like a comedown, but was absolutely nothing like I had experienced before. We all go outside and absorb some of the beauty of nature. Becca and Mike keep talking because of the opening nature they were experience. Eventually things came out that I had never known about Becca. Mike remained quiet throughout the entire roll. He claims he cannot formulate his thoughts as well as others which didn’t bother any of us. At this point we all take 100mg of 5-HTP
(T ~6:00) We all redose with 37mg of MDA. From this point on the night becomes a blur. This is when the truly psychedelic aspect of MDA shows its face. Lying in bed with Becca in the middle and Mike on the outside we describe to each other the hallucinations we’re seeing. In one instance the drapery around a window came off the wall and looked like it was about to eat us. Even though these visions may sound scary, I could never have been at more peace.
(Morning) For the rest of the night/morning I move around from the carpet, to the couch, to the bed. MDA is truly a highly stimulating chemical. Noting on any comedown I may have had, it was completely absent. Again we dose with around 100mg of 5-HTP
The next day I was tired, exhausted, but in a state of peace that was hard to describe. I always truly feel blessed to be able to show people a world which they’ve never seen before. Both of my friends, or should I say family now thank me and say that they’ve never been able to see people, nature, and human existence in the light they saw it in that night. They both agree that they will never be the same. For me, this is a mission accomplished.
For the next few days afterwards we dose with 50mg 5-HTP every so often.
Now, being 5 days later, I couldn’t feel more refreshed, alive, and ready to take on the world. Once again, thank you ecstasy. “A glimpse of the goal helps to focus the mind”.
