Marquis Reagent supply

Anyone know where you can buy marquis reagent (same stuff as EZ-test)
I dont trusdt mailing stuff over the internet and plus I'm not quite sure how, and how to deal with the tax and stuff..
isnt marquis reagent available somewhere? Like shoppers drug mart(doubt it), or at school chemistry labs?

There is also an US based company selling it.
I do not have the URL anymore but it is something with 'crime-scene'.
They sell Marquis but it is actually a lot more expensive than what we sell it for.
As far as I know it is not something that is rally stocked.
Until now it is only us, dancesafe.org and The Green Party who make it and sell it.
Anyway, making it yourself involves more than finding the formula and throwing it all together ;-)
Also, the E-Z Test contains a variation on Marquis.
Some Methanol was added for stabitlity and the Methanol seems to make it a bit more precise.

I have been looking but never found a wholesale source for the reagent .. you can make it for about $70 a liter ..

I read everything about the claims that methanol makes it more accurate, but I have yet to really notice it .. I had some pure MDA powder, and tested it using the reagent (sans methanol) then tested it after making the reagent with 5% methanol .. I noticed no drastic change in color or reaction time .. I *DID* find that methylene chloride helps though (it makes the reaction quicker) ..
How else does your kit differ from DanceSafes? I mix the two chemicals, then gently reflux for a few minutes .. very extothermic reaction ..

PhreeX, why are you refluxing it? Original Marquis Reagent is prepaired just by mixing those chemicals.

a (GENTLE) reflux with some DCM seems to help the final product .. yes, you can just pour the two togther and still yeild a working reagent ..
