Marquis reaction- what does it mean?

Hi I just got my first test kit, a marquis. I've been testing various "molly" and all have resulted in a yellow color reaction so probably methylone.

Finally I found some different molly and tested it. I accidentally let out like three drops instead of one, and it at first didn't change for a second or two and then it turned purple. It was black around the bits of molly but the whole liquid never turned black it stayed purple. Does this mean it's weak or something?

Not necessarily, it sounds like it definitely has MDxx in there though. As long a there is no indication of another color then it sounds clean.

It's good to test with multiple reagents though
