Marquis Purple = MDxx Low pill?

So I just got my first testing kit and decided to test some Blue G-ladies that I have had for a while. Had not consumed them because this press's reputation is not so great in the Northeast, and there are many batches going around (pillreports is literally swamped with these).

So my Mecke was apparently very good, with a very quick reaction ending in a dark black puddle in less than 10 seconds.

Marquis test: turned fairly quickly to purple, and had a complete (not swirly) puddle reaction. But it did not turn quickly into black (or black with a "purplish tint") as my testing kit said it should. It just stayed a fairly dark (but not super-dark) solid purple color. There was also no discernible "fizzing." After maybe 3 minutes, the puddle had turned black.

From what I've picked up by reading this forum and pillreports, I think perhaps these pills contain MDMA but are just low-dose. Is this the most astute conclusion to reach from these results?

Would you consume a pill with these results?
 
Personally, I don't pay attention to the fizzing. Sometimes MDMA fizzes, sometimes it doesn't, but pipes can too. It's just not a good indicator. I would honestly be worried about these pills. The Mecke is pretty sensitive, and reacts very easily to small amounts of MDMA. Pill pressers that have caught on to this use this to their advantage when making pipes pills with just a tiny non-active amount of MDMA. The Marquis shouldn't take 3 minutes to reach the right color. This is definitely a warning sign. It's hard for me to say, because there isn't a picture, but I would be very weary. If you decide to take these pills, start small, like a half. If you take a whole and don't feel anything, don't keep redosing. While they could be low-dose, they could also be a pipes/mdma combo pill. The G lady press is so unreliable.

Do you have a picture you could post up here? Also, which G ladies are they?
 
if it's the fairly large, flat g ladies, they came up on edata a few months ago as clean. If the pill is huge, it's pretty normal to have weak/slow reactions. I tested some giant pills (1000 mg range in size) and they tested slow, but they actually had a megadoses in them. It was a special XL batch that appeared to be from the same presser, as it had a signature + scored on the back. Definately the best tabs I ever took, despite the slower reaction and chalky taste. So size plays a huge role in reaction speed. I'd have been scared to take a 1000 mg pill that tested instantly 8o I'd break it into quarters (since it had a + score ;))

Although there definitely are a lot of the blue g ladies going around, this pill looks exactly like mine.. same colorations, chalky texture, placement and proportion of g. And they even claim the Marquis turned to a black / purple (instead of black) as well.
 
Haha, those pills were actually sent in by yours truly.

A heads up... they suck balls. One didn't do shit, except make me feel kind of sick to my stomach (maybe all the binders?). They are not made by a professional obviously, and my guess is there's maybe 30 or 40 mg of MDMA.

Well, thanks for the service! Their looks sketched me out from the beginning; I feel like I could make a better pill.

I don't think I will consume these, unless for some reason I am truly desperate...
