So it was a boring friday right after school... i was hanging out with my friend J and B. There was talk about "marlboro lights" in the area, At first i was sceptical, but after some easy persuading from my friends, i agreed to try them.
My buddy J approached the convenience store, i fallowed him, my hands shaking, beginning to get a little sweaty, im already feeling nervous. He heads to the counter, and asks... May i please get a pack of marlboro lights ? automaticly, the store clerk stares him down. It was a good 30second standoff, but J held his ground, the clerk grabbed the pack and tossed it on the counter.
"$7.50 she says" Quickly, J pulls out a 10 doller bill, n gives it to the lady.
she gives him $2.50 in change, and we leave the store. I was so releaved, we had done it ! we had bought cigarettes with no Idenfication !!! We all gave a high-five, and giggled a little bit.
We start heading to the forest to try them, and i start having second thoughts... i asked B, cant u get cancer ? he says yes, but its a chance im willing to take, so i agree.
we reach a small tree-stump at the bottom of a hill, and J unwraps the fresh pack, as soon as he opens it, i see the 20 marlboro lights.
Ive seen amazing joints of marijuana rolled, but these were simply perfect, there were no creases, it almost seemed like they were done by machine or something, i give props to whoever rolled those up.
So B takes one out, tosses it in his mouth, and pulls out a "Bic Lighter", as he begins to light the cigarette, i watch with amazement, my eyes began to light up. He takes a Puff from the cigarette, and enhales the whole hit straight to his lungs. I ask, 'whats it like dude'? he says, here man try it out.
i put the cigarette in my mouth, and took a very small puff, as i began to enhale, everything went dark. My world completley changed, i began to feel as if i was 20 pounds, this surreal "Light Headed Feeling" was fallowed by a deep cough, i drop the cigarette and sit down. As i start to look upwards towards the sky, i see clouds forming very fast. My whole mouth went completely dry, as i took another puff from this magic stick. This time, i immediatly fell... my friend told me he had tried "Marlboro reds" but he described it as if it was nothing, i told myself, this is amazing... i felt as if it was very dizzy, like i just sat upside down for 20minutes or so.
After we passed the Cigarette around, our lungs couldnt handle more of the extremely potent smoke, so we tossed it away, about 1/3rd was smoked. We walked back up the hill, and back towards our school.
We were changed... we had now tried Tobacco... we laughed and joked about it for 15minutes or so til we reached our school. We saw a group of girls that we know from our school, we decide to approach them and as if they want to try a marlboro light. I was Still feeling the affects from the tobacco in my blood stream, so i was a little giggly and such, they looked at me weird, and told us to "get Lost".
The comedown wasnt so rough, i went home and ate a big meal, then went to sleep before curfue.
I suggest to anyone that they should try 'marlboro lights', its simply a divine and surreal experience, i feel it has changed me in a very positive way, i have learned alot more about myself, and the world.
