[disclaimer] I did not grow any of this, my friend who lives in a region where it is legal to grow personal amounts of marijuana gave me the pictures and asked if i would do this for him. So fuck off DEA
Alright first grow ever, decided to do it indoors with good nugget bag seeds that were fuck knows how old. Started on july 20th of 08, with about 14 seeds, 9 of which sprouted after successful germination. Moved into closet with 5 fluorescent bulbs hung from the bar in the closet by shop lamps. Very ghetto set up, but cheap and workable at the same time, just not very appealing.
July 25th:
A few days later a couple more seeds had germinated so i figured what the fuck, lets throw em in:
As you can see some are starting to wilt, my guessing was from the extremely low light setup that i had, but i am extremely lazy and the way i had the cords tangled up...it was going to be a fucking bitch! So i decided to do not shit about it until later. Which proved to be not too horrible after a couple more days:
Here is where one of my [buddy's] largest problem started:
Unfortunately i lost track of time around here...and so the remainder of our time line here is all guessing from here out. Today is january twenty second and my buddy who is the official grower of them just called me and said that they are starting week two of the curing. So the life span is about exactly 6 months.
more days later yellowing starts to occur on some of the leaves, my friend is worried, but not so much:
yellowing gets slightly worserrr:
Other than the yellowing of the leaves, the rest are doing great. Sure, two or three might have died during the first couple of weeks but that is to be expected, plus! my friend had the back ups, so we were back to the full nine.
On the other hand, the above mentioned problem in the mold picture took a horrible turn, since my friend is such an eager beaver, he over watered the plants, and then over watered them some more. Mold began taking over the top soil of 2 plants and then spread...fast. The next day there were mushrooms growing right at the base of some of the plants. Needless to say certain people were not happy and a dry spell came upon the plants. Along with a bunch of soil scraping.
About two weeks later the mold problem is gone, but gnats are everywhere. Everywhere. They in fact lasted until the move, months down the line, and it seems never really affected the plants. At this point they take off:
except for this one it seems...
