Marijuana and Society Anxiety

Does mj cause social anxiety or social awkwardness?

Everytime i blaze i perfer to just not leave my house..Its like im happy doing things in solitude

in public stoned im too paranoid and socially awkward.... And for some reason i feel like everyone knows im stoned and get self conscious....

Why do some people think? it wasnt like this when i started.. now i smoke occasionally but usually just perfer to be sober if i have to go out and do stuff .. been smoking 10+ yrs

In some people it does. IMO/E it just enhances your senses, so if you are naturally an anxious person it will only increase when getting high and going out in public.

No drug effects everyone the same way, so this question can only be answered with opinions.

I'm a quite anxious person, and I find marijuana to be a great cure for social anxiety. Without it I'm cynical, not very able to relate to other people, apathetic and generally not very good socially. But with it I get along decently. I think it just depends on the person, some people get nervous around other people sober and some people get that way stoned.

So there you go, it can go both ways. It depends on the person, as said.
