These fucking withdrawals every month are kicking my ass. Anyone been to this point? Just sick of this high and low cycle...

Are you prescribed opiates monthly and routinely run out early because you tend to gobble them up when you have them at hand? If this is, in fact, your question then yes I can relate. I used to run out early probably more often than not and even then, the times I made it to the refill date, I was taking very small amounts just squeaking by each day. Instead of 2 pills a day I'm prescribed, I'd be taking something like 3/4 or 1/2 of one pill for an entire day. Just barely enough to keep withdrawals at bay. I've had to do that for up to 6-8 days. Bottom-line is I got sick of having to deal with it! Solution - my wife now keeps my script upstairs in a safe and I get my next day's meds at each night. It kind of sucks to have to put that power in someone else's hands but the relief of knowing when the month is coming to an end, I WILL ALWAYS MAKE IT is priceless. If you are in a place in life where this could work for you, I'd suggest you give it a try. Hopefully your pill holder won't get on a power trip on you. I've read of cases where it has happened, so have a good talk up front so you both know the rules. Good Luck and I hope I answered you question.
