I have been taking adderall for a while now. Have increased dose to more than prescribed 60MG - 80MG a day. In the past week or week or so I have had a string of bad luck and also got into this business deal. I purchased a business from this guy and loaned him $80,000 which I got a promissory note for and another $25,000 at the end of December because I thought from our discussion I would be paid back after the new year..

Didn't happen that way. Found out thru someone that we both know that he would be opening restaurant at end of April. Last week, I asked him and immediately he got pissed that I went behind his back. Lets say that the Adderall triggers the manic side in any problem, bad situation etc...

I said some really horrible things. While some would have been pissed, I took things too far and made several accusations of how you are screwing me over, I will never spend a penny at your restaurant and said the word 'sue', 'scam' in many of the texts and how I would make sure I got every penny back but in a way that was very inflammatory.

I realize that it is the way I have been dealing with situations lately, nothing physical but as I stated above getting worked up in a hysterical tirade full of accusatory and inflammatory statements.

As I said I have been taking over what is prescribed and on 80MG Prozac but taking as prescribed.

Is the damage irreversible from the Adderall given the amount I stated?

Please take this up with a professional. Imo no you are fine.. cut the speed out as you are close to mania.. though I associate this with at least one psychotic break.. however if your anger is kicking you are close.. chill back on the speed.. really its doing nothing for you.. sounds like you may be dealing with a con artist though its hard to tell.. get a lawyer if you are not one. best of luck and chill on the speed and consult your physician..

Hypomania: At first when I'm high, it's tremendous ... ideas are fast ... like shooting stars you follow until brighter ones appear... All shyness disappears, the right words and gestures are suddenly there ... uninteresting people, things become intensely interesting. Sensuality is pervasive, the desire to seduce and be seduced is irresistible. Your marrow is infused with unbelievable feelings of ease, power, well-being, omnipotence, euphoria ... you can do anything ... but somewhere this changes.

Mania: The fast ideas start coming too fast and there are far too many ... overwhelming confusion replaces clarity ... you stop keeping up with it … memory goes. Infectious humor ceases to amuse. Your friends become frightened ... everything is now against the grain ... you are irritable, angry, frightened, uncontrollable, and trapped.

If you have three or more of the mania symptoms below most of the day -- nearly every day -- for one week or longer, you may be having a manic episode of bipolar disorder:

Excessive happiness, hopefulness, and excitement
Sudden changes from being joyful to being irritable, angry, and hostile
Restlessness, increased energy, and less need for sleep
Rapid talk, talkativeness
Distractibility
Racing thoughts
High sex drive
Tendency to make grand and unattainable plans
Tendency to show poor judgment, such as impulsively deciding to quit a job
Inflated self-esteem or grandiosity -- unrealistic beliefs in one's ability, intelligence, and powers; may be delusional
Increased reckless behaviors (such as lavish spending sprees, impulsive sexual indiscretions, abuse of alcohol or drugs, or ill-advised business decisions)
Some people with bipolar disorder become psychotic, hearing things that aren't there. They may hold onto false beliefs, and cannot be swayed from them. In some instances, they see themselves as having superhuman skills and powers -- even consider themselves to be god-like.

You mentioned Prozac. Prozac is an SSRI, and SSRIs have been known to induce mania in some people, especially those who may be bipolar (one academic source, another about fluoxetine in children, you can find more reports on Google). That's not to say that Prozac is the cause of or contributes to your problems; Adderall seems more likely to me... But it's something to keep in mind, and something you may want to discuss with your doctor/psychiatrist/etc.

How long have you been using both drugs?

I have felt calmer over the past few days and my sleep has gotten better. One thing I am realizing, is that I think it the Prozac or the interaction between the Prozac & Adderall that led to the manic behavior. I am also scared because I read that Prozac & Adderall can have a major interaction and I am scared that I did long term physical damage to myself.

Are you taking any medications such as a mood stabilizer, anti-manic drug or a atypical anti-psychotic? Or are you just taking Prozac and adderall? Prozac like all SSRI's is notorious for causing mania in people who are bipolar. Amphetamines such as adderall can also trigger mania and i can speak from personal experience that overuse of amphetamines (i used Detroamphetamine) can really fuck up your moods bad for days and even weeks after you stop taking them. If you absolutely have to take the adderall stick to a lowish dose unless you want your brain to hate you altogether.

I would highly recommend talking to your doctor about all of this.
