Making oil on the stove

So I made oil, but my damn blow dryer is broken so i have no way of cooking it. My friend always made his on the stove, but he's out of town so I'm on my own. I've tried to find a good guide on safety for it but I haven't found much, does anyone have anything that would help me not blow myself up? thanks!

fuck no.. keep that shit far far away from the stove... or anything with a flame....

Put it outside, start heating some water, put your container of oil into a larger container of hot water... Hot water baths are the best way to go when you want to evaporate solvents without a flame...

Trust me on this, the shit will flash.... i have done it and seen it happen... a large container filled with boiling and flaming solvent is not something you want in the kitchen...

microwave is also a bad idea... Alcohol will evaporate and he vapors will probably fill the microwave until concentrations are right, then it flashes and blows the door off the microwave and a fireball ensues...
