So I acquired some awesome honey oil, and I've never even seen budder before so I started to research methods of making it. I came across two different methods that have left me a bit confused, so maybe someone here can help.
The first method, he says to bring some water to a boil in a skillet. take the skillet off the heat. place the plate with resin glob in the middle in the water. let sit for 10 minutes. the resin will submerge, aka melt .take it out. place skillet back on heat. stir with a pin, or power tool, until you can't stand it anymore and the water is boiling heavily. repeat three times. the last time, have a fan blowing over the plate and keep stirring until it returns to room temperature.
^that's exact words, I didn't change anything.
Now I found a video on youtube, some of you probably know of Hash Bean, where he doesn't use any water at all. The link is at the bottom, but he basically just heats it up on pyrex and stirs it. Seems easier, but is it as effective? Do i still have to set it by fan and stir it after?
Also if I do choose to do whats in the video, what heat is best? i'd be using a normal kitchen stove. thanks for reading!
