Opioids Make heroin more snortable?

Hey so if someone had in their possession a brown heroin (also would be considered #3 heroin? i never got the 3 vs 4 thing) that is not particularly suited for sniffing, how could one make it more "snortable?" specificaly, much of the drug is lost because it tends to stick to the nostrils rather than getting further up where it can be absorbed. anything that someone could cut it with that will help it not be so sticky?

and yes, drying the inside of the nose would have been attempted first


EDIT: I am seeing many threads about turning it into a liquid and snorting it. this is new info to me. but i cant find a reliable thread on this method. for example, how to prepare it? Ratio? and how the hell you dont just end up with the shit running down your throat?

European heroin is almost exclusively No. 3. It can be snorted, though insufflation's a less efficient ROA than with either East Coast No. 4 or Tar. Hence the popularity of smoking No. 3 on foil. If the drug is to be dissolved in water it needs to be cooked with citric acid in preperation for IV.

Insufflation does seem to work However, the low bioavailability and need to snort small bumps in order to avoid any drip/oral consumption makes snorting a fairly wasteful and all around bad method of ingestion.

In theory you could dissolve the dope in water and citric acid using the smallest amount of water possible then squirt the solution up your nose. This could greatly increase bioavailability but sadly I've never done it before so its all theory. I live in Canada and have never seen number 3 before its all number 4 heroin.

Number 3 is the base form of diamorphine whereas number 4 is the hydrochloride salt form of diamorphine. Salts are water soluble meaning it can be snorted effectively and dissolves in water with ease. Whereas the base is not water soluable but the base heroin has a lower boiling point making smoking it a good option. Its not the fact it's sticky so much but more so because its not water soluble in base form. But adding critic acid does convert in from base form to the water soluble form but you'll habe to squirt water up your nose. It does work you jist can't use a while lot of water or else it will go down the throat. This is how hospitals administer drugs intranasally by squirting a solution up the patients nose so its not a far fetched idea at all when done properly.

The times I have snorted dope, I broke down any rocky pieces to a fine a powder as possible, and used to have alot of it get stuck on the sides of my nostril or in the nose hairs way back in there, but I found a way to avoid all that, its real simple, just stick the straw further up in your nose, ( far up in there, but not TOO far), to avoid wasting any of it.

If the dope is stingy to snort I add some baking soda and shake it up. keeps it dry and makes it smoother in da nose. jusss shizazin,
