lsd

You do, but change is inevitable throughout life. If it wasn't youd be sitting in diapers on the floor shitting yourself.
You will look at the world differently after you drop, but it all depends on the person and the epxerience..i say go for change. suck on a vial and prepare for a life experience..

Taking LSD opened me up to a whole new world - It will open your mind to new possibilities. Go for it, it is an experience not to be missed - just make sure do take it in surroundings that you are comfortable with.

don't really know about acid but i have sure seen poeple take a totally different way in there live after shroom trips especially bad ones
it is not for me to judge wheiter that was a good direction tho
example girl:
never took shrooms again and never even took pot again allthough she used to smoke weed everyday
i think psychalelics are only for a few people but if you don't take to much
and make sure youre with the right people at the right place you'll be fine

i must admit...acid may change your perspective on life and the mechanics of the world...the degree of change depends on you...some people just make minor adjustments to their life after an acid trip...others do a total 180 degree turn...and yet some still think nothing of the trip and don't change at all and just see the trip as an experience with pretty colors and visuals...

It changes the way you think , but it is not always a turn for the worst it can be good. I feel that acid made me more disconnected from the world then before. I don't feel that I can relate to other people as much so I don't hang out with friends as much. I feel that I could not have a realtionship with any girl anymore because I scare them away with my ramdom thoughts from tripping.
I just wouldn't do it a lot.Its not a bad drug at all , just powerful.

yes, it will change you, or at least i hope it would and you wouldnt debase your experience to think it was just another drug to get fucked up on... cause it definitely isnt... it not only deserves respect, but it demands it.

After I did LSD, similarly with Pot, I had such a great time with new friends and it was so insightful and fun/harmless, that i got mad and confused at the government/outsiders... It made me think that the people watching out/after me just didnt want me to have any fun/make friends/ expand my mind (and i dont mean that in teh standard druggie cliche, i learned a lot about myself and world etc...) but yeah, LSd is Great provided you dont Over Trip, Ever. =)

I've never done acid for this very reason. I know its probably a change for the good. But I'm already probably the most open minded person in my group of freinds already. I always sort of have been, but after a few shroom trips I realized that I think alot differently from most of my freinds and I'm sure LSD would probably make me alot less social just like maxium hydro explained.
You have to decide for yourself if you can handle seeing the world in a new light. It probably wont do you any harm, you might not even notice.

Hey Crescent Fresh!
"i got mad and confused at the government/outsiders"
Hehe, you should check out my post in "Alcohol" in this forum...

"Yes, I am one of the most despised and despicable of media monsters, that blight of corruption against morality and decency and law’n’order — one who chooses to partake of consciousness-altering flowering herbs and alchemical essences — a drug user!"

I think acid+shrms.etc make you see the world for what it is , which is too much for the human mind to handle , so thats why people get crazy from it. You look around and realize that there is no order and shit like that , or think about how things you believed your whole life make no sense to you after you trip.<religion.etc>

it opens up a part of your mind that you never knew exhisted. you can only excersize your mind at that level while on lsd, i think. That's why it's so hard to explain to someone who's never done it what it's like.

maximumhydro: i disagree, it made me see oRDER everywhere.. because i am mathematically minded, my trips almost always consist of many fractal images. And wherever I look now I see fractals, in everything. Order is everywhere.

It will remove your filter, which is supposed to filter out "insignificant" material, from all of your senses, and your subconscious thoughts. You have learned your whole life what is significant/insignificant. That includes any brainwashing, from religion, or what you were told all your life, school, television, anything you have denial about but just aren't conscious of.. It will open up your mind to all the other things going on in your brain, and after several trips or a few intense ones, you will feel like you understand the world, people, society, the universe, in a way you cant even come near putting into words. Everything can seem to be "connected", us, the world, everything.. no words can describe it.
Of course what you get out of a trip will depend on what you are thinking about during it, where you are at, setting, etc. I'm glad i tripped, i remember myself a year ago before i tripped, and i was a confused person, not sure what life is all about, not fully understanding of myself, not sure what i wanted to do, etc. Most of those "holes" are filled in now.
