lsd taste?

most of the L i've had is tasteless and thats how i always thought it was supposed to be. recently i got some and the taste was very bitter so i was skeptical about it but ended up having a great trip anyway. i thought the bitter taste could have been the ink on the paper because it was very dark but for all i know it could have been some reandom chemical closely related to lsd. i didn't test it or anything (is there even a tester for lsd?) now one of my other friends, who is actually a close friend and wouldn't jerk me around says he has some potent gel tabs and that you can taste the acid on them. is acid supposed to have a taste in its multiple forms (liquid, paper, gel tabs)? does it depend on what it's dissolved in or something?


p.s. i know we don't do substance ID on BL. i don't think this falls under that category but if it does i'm sorry....
 
Real paper has no taste, tastes like ink, or has a metallic taste.

Sometimes ink tastes bitter.
 
so im assuming the gel tabs wouldn't have taste either?

There was a blotter that was fairly popular Ganesha / Alex Grey that carried a bitter taste, it appeared to be some sort've signature mark as other blotter also carried. Either that, or the ink. Fucking stupid idea though was horrible trying to eat more than three.
 
Sometimes the solvent the LSD is dissolved in can have a bitter taste. I wouldn't assume that because the taste is bitter, it's not LSD.
 
Yeah it's possible it's LSD. But i've never seen a lsd tab that tasted bitter. ever.

I find lsd has this 'zany' taste.. it's like a small bolt of electricity :D As others said, this is probably the ink or paper causing the taste.

Exactly, but it's not the ink or paper causing it. it feels like a weak 9V battery on the tongue. If it is a strong hit it will give me a spine shiver and I shake like a wet dog when I touch the blotter to the very tip of my tongue. Not everyone is able to taste it though. I had a good friend that couldn't taste it. He got tired of getting ripped off on undipped sheets so he started to bring me along as his taste tester whenever he bought quantity. According to the Merk Index LSD has a very faint bitter taste and I agree with that. The key words here are "very faint". My experience has been that about half the population can tasteit and half can't. The myth that it is colorless, odorless and tasteless comes from the early clinical trials where a dose of LSD was disolved in a glass of water for administration. They would ask the test subject if they could taste anything and of course they couldn't LOL
 
VERY VERY VERY SLIGHT metallic taste. Like others have said. Little bolt of electricity hitting your body.

I still stand by my word that anything very bitter- is NOT LSD. (Not including liquid, some is alcohol based). Sure- I may be wrong. But everything that has been very bitter IME was indeed, not acid.

Sounds like you may have had an NBOMe series drug. Did it also kind of numb your tounge/gums? If so- it was. Many people cannot tell the difference. I had 25i-NBOMe and gave it to some people before telling them, they just thought it was strong acid. I can't even keep that shit in my mouth its so bitter.

Many people debate this, and it always will be debated.

Just go for the tasteless stuff (besides the slight metallic) and you'll know exactly what your getting. LSD.
 
Yeah those Alex Grey/Ganeshas are so bitter. It is hard to put them down I always have to wash them down after consumed.
They're the only bitter tabs I ever had, normally bitter tabs set of the warning alarms in my mind though which actually made the first time I tried them really quite strange as I was suspicious I had consumed something else.

I believe it is the ink, I imagine the taste of DOx chemicals and the such would be far more distasteful though, but hey I've never had one so.
 
Yea the cleanest papers ive ever had have had a slight coppery/metallic twinge to it

NBOME drugs aren't orally active so I don't think it's very viable that they're going around on blotters on the street.
 
Iamme90. If the nbome is complexed it is active orally. This is a fact
Another fact is the streets are flooded with the nbomes on blotter.
Do some homework!!
 
I have had blotter 25c and 25i nbome. Put both under tounge for 10ish mins than swallowed. Great time from both.

I don't believe you're correct. I had an nBOMe blotter (sold as LSD..) and I kept the tab in my mouth for about 4-5 mins before it dissolved. The trip wasn't that strong and it ended in about 7 hours, but I felt a good deal of body load and some nausea.

They actually ARE. Everyone keeps saying they arnt, but indeed they are. And it doesnt HAVE to be complexed- but that does make it "easier" to be absorbed.

You want facts? Search google, go to a library. Or just take our word for it since were in the scene.

No reason to get angry. The more chemically knowledgeable posters in this forum have said the opposite so I'm going to reserve my opinion until I see compelling evidence to the contrary, is all.
 
well with the amount of nbome is that is acquired for such little funds im pretty sure that there are several sketchy people passing nbomes around on blotter seeing the profit margin becomes 10 fold if not more than real lsd -

never the less its really sad that people are okay with DOC/DOE instead of lsd in the first place :( there is no substitute.
