First Acid trip
Reading all these Trip reports has made me want to share my first experience with acid which was about one and a half months ago.
Ive been doing weed, E and speed on and off for the last 4 years, I always been interested in acid, but it had been very difficult to get hold of some.
It was on a Saturday night and I finished work at 10pm, went into the city to meet my friend J, who had gotten some Mad hatters and Red dragons. Got into the city at about 12:30am and J had taken 3 tabs by then and was well on his way, so I took 2 and waited.
The venue was a psytrance party with cool visuals and décor but it was during a minor heat wave, the temp had been 40C that day and did not cool down much at night so the club was very hot. I started feeling some effects about an hour and a half later and took one more tab to try and get the ball rolling, I usually learn as much as I can about a drug before I take it, but I didn’t know much about acid. I had tried acid before but had only gotten very mild effects, music was cooler, felt good etc.
So suffice to say I had a pretty bad time for the next few hours, I obviously learnt the hard way that acid + clubs don’t mix, so I kept running into depressing things, vomit on the carpet, angry drunks staring down at me with contorted faces etc. 8( I would have loved to have stayed at the trance party, but it was ridiculously hot(acid raising body temp too) and when I did finally start relaxing some guys squirted water in my face saying walk up wake up…f&%k oooof!
So I spent most of the time wandering around the concrete streets trying to get a grip. It wasn’t all bad though, ravers rock, such free, happy spirits just enjoying life and not trying to drown themselves in alcohol, got lots of little insights on things.
After trying out a day club @ 6, it ended up filling with drunk people more then ravers, so I quickly left muttering how horrible it was in there and getting strange looks from the door staff and wandered around some more, listening to the groans of the city (early morning traffic) and caught the first train home.
I was looking forward to coming home and relaxing, but was greeted with dinner that I didn’t clean up before I left and the computer room was a bit of a mess, so I spent the next half hour “preparing to relax”, cleaning, having a shower.
It all changed after putting on my glasses, smoking a cone/bowl, put crystal method on (trip like I do%) ) and stared out my window. Visuals went crazy, splitting up into huge kaleidoscopes and everything hit me about the whole culture behind acid, and everything made sense. It Was Amazing.
So the rest of the morning was great, wont go into too much detail, wandered around the house looking at everything, flicked through some cool Egyptian and Aztec picture books, stared into a crystal ball that had bubbles and shit in it and saw a black tree similar to the one in the Animatrix tripping short film(pondered that for a while). Chatted to my room mate for a while who was an experienced tripper from a few years backbut he said that the strength of the trip was about 4/10(cant wait for a 10)
So yeah, needless to say I know now I should have prepared abit more…
Felt so relaxed for a week after that weekend, very spiritually cleansing.
