A few weeks ago I decided to take a break from studying for finals and go to a show on campus. The bands were mostly electronic, a lot of dubstep (not really my style) but I went because I wanted to see Zion I and Griz. I bought my ticket off a girl who couldn't go anymore the day of the show for a significantly cheaper price. Everyone on my floor was either tripping, rolling or drunk at this point, it is around 7 pm btw. I hit up one of my friends to see if he has any acid, he does and he says its the best he has ever had :D I have tripped LSD around 10/15 times, I have tripped on other stuff (shrooms, salvia, xtc, ketmaine, mescaline, 2cb, etc) well over 50 times, so tripping is not new to me. When my friend arrived he pulled out a vial and dropped a hit on mine and my other friends hand which I immediately licked off! I give my friend 10 bucks and he leaves. At around 8 pm I start to take shots with kids on my floor, after about 4 shots in 10 minutes I begin noticing the LSD. Every time I take acid I notice a feeling of deja vu that starts with me realizing that I underestimated the drug again. I take a few more shots then go to burn some herb with a few of my friends who are also tripping. When we went outside I felt like I was tripping way harder than I was inside, all the lights were brighter and I was getting intense body sensations, it felt good to long board. We skated to one of our usual smoke spots and smoked a few bowls, now i'm really starting to trip! I decide its time to go to the show, we put our boards away and head over to the venue.
On the way there i noticed that my ticket had the girl's (who sold it to me) name on it. This freaked me out and I started to think I wouldn't be able to get in! And of course when we got there I had problems at the door. The security guard asked me to remove everything from my pockets and hold it while he patted me down. I forgot about my pack of cigs in my front pocket of my flannel shirt, he seemed pretty upset/disappointed with me since I forgot about them and pulled them out late. After getting patted down he tried to scan my ticket and it made the scanner beep loudly. He told me to go over to the "Ticket Issues Desk" and they would fix it. This was scaring me and I was positive I wouldn't get in. The lady at the desk had dreadlocks and she seemed way more chill than the security dude, she didn't even look at my ticket she just drew a big blob on my hand and said "that is supposed to be a star (chuckles) it will get you in." I'm like okay, that looks nothing like a star, this lady is trippin! So I go back to the door and the security guy lets me through and seems really nice this time. At this point I've already lost track of the people I came with lol, but I started to see people I knew almost immediately. I saw several kids from my various classes and I talked to them, explained I was tripping etc. Then I asked one of the security guards where I could smoke a cig. I saw a cute girl so I didn't pull my lighter out and went over to ask if I could use hers. She kindly lit my cigarette then I recognized her! I asked her if she went to the high school I went to and she freaked and shouted my name! We had a few of the same classes about 5 years ago.
After about 10 minutes of talking she was giving me one of the best massages I've ever had after she realized I was tripping. She was rolling very hard too and we decided to go to the dancefloor and watch Zion I. We met up with her friends that she came with when I recognized one of them from my middle school! It was the weirdest things and stuff like this always happens to me when I'm tripping! It was so weird thinking back to middle school and, me and her were innocent kids who would never even smoke bud, and we are reunited at a rave 7 years later on psychedelics! She was rolling very hard her pupils were huge and her jaw was clenching, made me feel bad but also made me want some rolls! haha.
From around 11 pm to 2 am I was peaking very hard and was having intense thought loops and even loops in actual time where I would be dancing on the dance floor and completely forget what was even going on, then I would come back and be doing the exact same thing. I'm sure I looked ridiculous, but most people at this show did. The last 3 bands to play were all electronic and tbh I have no idea when each one went on. I was tripping so hard I wasn't even hearing music, but large waves of sounds were raping my eardrums, I was very interested in nearby conversations as well. I was watching one of the girls dancing on stage and someone next to me was taking pictures of her. I tapped him and said jokingly "I wonder how much x they fed her?!" He kind of laughed but went back to taking pictures. The visuals and lights were outstanding!! At one point I thought I was either gonna have a heart attack or a seizure from some crazy strobes and lazers!
At around 1 someone jumped on my back and covered my eyes when I was smoking a joint that someone had passed to me! It freaked me out and I was just thinking I was fucked! Turns out it was one of my friends I came to the show with and he was tripping just as hard
The entire venue seemed so small to me at this point, I feel like when I trip things often shrink and everything is closer together. This also led to me thinking about the 'theme' of my trip: small world! haha
Me and some kids in my dorm reunited at the end of the show and decided to go burn, I lost the girls that I met but at least I got their numbers! We left and smoked a few bowls in a grass field and starred at the stars and talked about our nights. The weed seemed to make me trip harder, or differently. I couldn't taste the weed or feel it go down my throat, it was weird. I did not sleep the entire night, I stayed up watching adult swim and listening to music. I finally slept the next day, which was a rough day. Overall, my first LSD trip at a show was a success and I plan to try it again even though it got very intense sometimes! An outdoor festival with some jam bands would be much more fun IMO! I may have left some info out I will inform this thread if I remember anymore important details.
