Hey everyone,
I am new to bluelight and would like to share my story and maby someone can give me some insight on what to do about my situation. So it all started when i took a half tab of LSD back in january. I felt fine throughout the proceeding weeks (i think), and then on the super bowl i smoked weed. After smoking weed with my friend that night, we ran to my friends house to watch the game. As i sat down in their house i started to feel very strange. I wouldnt say i was having a panic attack but i was very anxious and scared. I remember the images on the tv screen were repeating themsleves and whenever i looked at my phone the icons and letters would morph and get somewhat larger. I was basically hallucinating which i found very odd on weed especially. Anyways i was very anxious and was almost sweating, and my heart was beating extremely fast.

Here i am today, about 2 months and 25 days later. About 1 week after that scary weed trip i staryed feeling very disconnected and depersonalized and was very anxious. Now about 3 minths later i am still experiencing some of these disconnected feelings and feel like the people around me are fake and have little meaning. Im not sure if weed ir acid did this to me but id love to know. I really want to recover from whatever i am going through and would love some feedback. P.S. My acid trip wasnt a "bad" trip.

Thanks.

I am sorry to hear that this is happening to you right now. Take a long hiatus or break from all drugs including cannabis. Talking to a therapist may help too. Good luck.

So you were anxious, sweating, scared, and your heart was pounding? But it wasn't a "bad trip"? That has all the symptoms of a bad trip, from the sounds of it...

Basically "bad trips" can affect people for a long time because they manifest themselves as a traumatic experience, and trauma tends to linger in a person's mind for a while. Don't worry, LSD does not damage your brain. Eventually you'll get better. May take time, though...I'd recommend an extended period of sobriety until you feel comfortable to ease back into using (if you indeed decide to use again)
