a few questions, my friends:

1 Do you still feel some of the effects of mdma?

2 Does it happen gradually?

3 Do the effects of the substance change?

4 If you begin to lose the magic and wait a year, will it come back?

5 Oh, and how many trips before you begin losing it (the magic)?

I think I might be losing it.... or just getting bad pills and needing to take a rest from mdma... >_>

Hey caroline_55 are you around?

ive done e probably somewhere around the 50-60 times mark, and i feel that more often now than in the past, setting really matters. like a lot more. if i'm in a good setting where i can relax (ie at home with friends) then i find i sorta "get" a lot higher. in other words, i just appreciate it more. but, if like in the past, i go to an "event" ie a dnb show or something like that, all i want to do is go home an chill out, so the high seems way less significant.

also, i think at this point, i sort of have to consciously let myself sorta drift out into that nice little e world, but it still happens.

it differs from person to person as far as how many trips. i would say if you do it a couple/few times a year, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

also, if you can, getting pure helps a lot. i dont even fuck with pills anymore.

events imo seem to demand more to fully enjoy them. which in turn generates a higher tollerance. i roll bi_ monthly with a bi weekly beinge for about 3 months a year ago. rolling in a fully controlled enviroment seems to give u more for less.

1 Do you still feel some of the effects of mdma?

I get increased energy, sometimes eye jitters, and a mild mood lift. The empathy and intensity of it all has gone away.

2 Does it happen gradually?

Sort of, but the major loss of magic happened quite suddenly for me. MDMA that got my friends all kind of loved up did exactly what I decribed above and the time before the four times i rolled with loss of magic I still had quite a bit of "magic" there (although nothing like the first few times)

3 Do the effects of the substance change?

Seems to be a lack of intensity. I feel "used" to the effects. They don't possess me like they used to.

4 If you begin to lose the magic and wait a year, will it come back?

People report that the longer you wait, the better the roll is. It's possible that waiting could help bring back some of the magic. Others swear by preloading with piracetam to bring back the magic, although I haven't personally tried this yet.

5 Oh, and how many trips before you begin losing it (the magic)?

could be anywhere from two to two-thousand. There's really no way of knowing. It's generally accepted that spacing out your rolls helps keep loss of magic from happening as quickly.

it blows. i'd rather not put it under a microscope. i kno its demolished, no need to inspect it. :(

i kno it was gone when i took a year break and then double dropped some nice pills. yeah i got fukt up, but it just wasnt the same.

*my first 2 years i rolled nearly once or twice a week. (approx 3-12 pillz a weekend)
*next 2 years i spaced em out more like once a month or two(approx 2-4 every session)
*no XTC for a year.(none)
*Double drop a year later and it's just "ok" (double drop)

I think I was starting to lose the magic, went on a 3 month break so we'll see next month. I still really enjoy the body buzz though, and makes me talkative as hell which is a huge plus :)

1. Do you still feel some of the effects of mdma?

You'll still feel the roll feeling, but you can tell there is something missing and it's just not as a great as it has been.

2. Does it happen gradually?

I find that it seems to happen only if you do it a lot. I rolled about a week ago, but before that it had been a month since I last rolled and I can say the magic hadn't gone. I had a hell of a fun time.

3. Do the effects of the substance change?

You'll be rolling, but you can definitely tell something just isn't there anymore. It's really hard to explain, but you'd be able to tell that something just wasn't right.

4. If you begin to lose the magic and wait a year, will it come back?

Yes I'm sure. I've lost the magic and waited a few months (2-3) and when I rolled it was amazing. I rolled again a month after that and the magic was still there.

5. Oh, and how many trips before you begin losing it (the magic)?

It really depends on how often you are doing it, yourself, and the environment around you. For me I could roll once a month every month and the magic would always be there, but for somebody else rolling once a month every month they could lose it.

Hope this helps.

I've lost the magic 5 Months after doing it for the first time.
Rolled over 120 Times doing 10Pills+ / Night

Last roll I tryed (Yes tryed) to be high, I did 18E and just felt horrible the whole day + the whole week.

Now giving up for a GOOD LONG time :D

1 Do you still feel some of the effects of mdma?
absolutely, mdma is still fun and awesome just not as spiritual/overwhelming as it was at first, but i dont think this is a bad thing really because im more in control.

2 Does it happen gradually?
yeah for me it did i rolled once a week for a few months and it was still very magical until he very end, after this i took a 3 month break and now roll aprox. once a month but not on a schedule if i happen to want to roll two weekends in a row then i just wait longer after that.

3 Do the effects of the substance change?
i dont think that the effects change as much as your perception of them change, you are just more comfortable with them and can know what to expect and prepare for. also i stopped taking tabs good while ago and now only do pure mdma/mda and i feel that this is MUCH better/safer and more magical.

4 If you begin to lose the magic and wait a year, will it come back?
the longer you wait the better it will be in my experience, i have never waited longer than 5 monts though. also there are meds you can take to replenish your brain chems.

5 Oh, and how many trips before you begin losing it (the magic)?
that is a question with alot of variables, depends on how much you take, how long your wait, personal brain chemistry, and im sure others im forgetting. but i would say every time after the first time is a little less magical. but not necessarily any less awesome.

feels like shit....now i wish i didnt abuse mdma and do it like 5 times a week lol....now i have to wait wait wait.

I would say the Euphoria and Empathy / Loved up feeling has pretty much faded for me. So has the tactile enhancement. The rest is still there. MDMA still feels good, but it doesn't feel magical. The magic began to leave about 1 year after my first use. Some abuse, but mostly 1 month or longer breaks.

There are some promising anecdotal reports of people using Saint Johns Wort to regain the magic. :)

ive only been doing it for a year, and i still have to say, that i think its lost its magic for the most part for me. i dont roll as hard, and i cant just take one-two pills and be content for the whole night. the comedown comes alot faster. I have found tho, that taking a pill of 5-htp before you dose does help a bit. but its never like those first couple times.

i was so upset i thought i had lost the magic for good. It is hard to explain, just as you guys mentioned...something isn't right. But i had been doing it too much (taking 2-3 week breaks).
Now i don't know if it was the 3 month break i took, the piracetam pre-loading, or a combination of the 2 but the magic DID come back, and it came back full force. (:

1 Do you still feel some of the effects of mdma?

Still feel some effect but absolutely none of the rushes of euphoria and the love is very much reduced. to onlookers though i still fucked wasted aqpparently which makes it more frustrating when i say it to people and they go "sure, you were wasted".

2 Does it happen gradually?

Very sudden. one weekend full effects the next little to no effects with exactly the same pills and some amount.

3 Do the effects of the substance change?

No new effects emerge just removal of that orgasmic rushes and loved up feeling.

4 If you begin to lose the magic and wait a year, will it come back?

tried 3,6, and 12 month breaks with no increase in effects at all.

5 Oh, and how many trips before you begin losing it (the magic)?

around 20 for me but thats different for everyone so it seems.
