Since I started to munch bikkies at the start of the year, and smoking a little more green than usual, I've found that I've lost an substancial amount of weight. It's not bothering me at this point in time, but seeing that I have no immediate plans to stop munching, or smoking for that matter, I was just wondering if there was any way I could put the weight back on, or somehow slow down the rate at which I am losing weight.
It's funny though, coz my friends and I have all lost weight and said that for $500, we could turn any fatty into a stringbean, simply by using the diet of bikkies and bongs we've had over the last 8 months, just compacting it into about 4 months, and bob's your father's brother!

I think you need a high-protein diet....lots of 'complex carbohydrates' too hehe
nah actually i am not TOO sure

But try lotsa meat, eggs, fish, cereal, pasta....blah blah
And the occasional splurge on Maccas
Basically just EAT MORE

Good luck buddy!

98kg? you lost 2 kilos on the weekend? I knew it was a hard weekend hippy but not that hard... hehehe...
I have the same issues... I lost a smegload of weight during the last year through to dancing, rollerblading etc. But alot of people have noticed it. Even people that I started raving with back in 98.

Once you've finished taking all the pills you're going to for the weekend, try taking a fair post-load of vitamins and 5HTP (I suggest the vitamins as well, because you're probably quite dehydrated and depleted after a weekend of dancing/staying awake for a long time). Once you've post-loaded, have as much sleep as you're capable of. Even if this involves just lying in a darkened room and resting for a few hours, to let your body recover. If you have 5HTP and a bit of sleep you may find that your appetite comes back a bit, so you may feel like eating some food when you are ready to get out of bed.
Fresh fruit usually seems the most appetizing to me, after a long weekend, and while it's not going to help you put on weight, will probably help you recover quicker. If you have a half-decent bong session after you've woken up and had some fruit, then you'll probably find the munchies come on hardcore and can then eat just about anything you can fit in your mouth. The munchie foods will help you put on, or lose less, weight over the weekend... mmm nachos, pasta, rice crackers and dip, pizza mmm. I think that these kind of foods are usually the most satisfying after a good few cones.

I don't think I'm really the one to be giving advice on this topic, seeing as though I am a string-bean myself, and always have been...
but, I wanted to say that whilst eating is something that doesn't come into your mind very often when out for a big weekend, it is important to at some point. I always feel better if I'm out for a big night and I've eaten a whole pizza with heaps of mushrooms (just normal ones

) and veggies and so on. The method in which BT just described above - smoke cones and start munching - thats so true..

Also, when you're on comedown and you cant imagine consuming anything because your stomach is burnt, try orange juice. I find this is a great help, is not too difficult to drink, and helps with the vitamin c count until you are able to eat something later on.

I have noticed exactly the same thing happening. Over the last two years i have gone from 70kg down to 65kg and being about 6' this is a bit too much. I think that the main thing is both the combination of exercise outside of clubbing and the drugs that increase your metabolism and also suppress hunger.
I have mostly been able to control the weight loss by endeavouring to eat something with both fat and carbos after going out each time - i found that a king size snickers or loads of butter and fruit toast are two things that go down alright. Breakfast cereals such as weetbix with lots of full cream milk also tend to be good since they usually are easy to eat and have heaps of carbos - milk also tends to settle my stomach a bit.
Basically i have found that i have to force myself to eat in the morning after getting out of a club otherwise i do tend to get really thin over the weekend. I think that the best way is to get something the night before (usually when i am a little less stingy about spending money rather than in the morning after spending $100-200 on a night) and then keep it with you until the morning then eat it and try get into a ritual of doing this everytime you go out.
As much as you dont want to eat in the morning you cant make up in the week what you didnt eat on the weekend since i have found that i just put on weight during the week and then burn it off again on the weekend and fall into a cycle rather than maintaining a constant consumption of food throughout 7 days.

What I find funny about the weight loss, is that all the guys I know complain about it.
However, all of us girls get excited and cheer about it! Yay! Losing weight while doing something you love rather than slaving through a couple of aerobics classes a day!
Sounds good to me!

Yeah, I'm not complaining at all about losing weight - in fact I've never looked so good in my life

, I just don't wanna have a weight problem further down the road!

I have started eating body builder's bars as a key step in my recovery process. My favorite is Max's CVMG bars, ingredients as follows:
Whey Protein Isolate, Predigested Whey Protein Isolate, Calcium Caseinate, Glucose Syrup, Maltodextrin, Dextrose, Sorbitol, Malt Extract, Glycerol, Vegetable Oil, Rice Crisps, Creatine Monohydrate, L-Glutamine, L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, L-Valine, L-Carnitine, Glycine, Choline, Inositol, Guarana, Acerola, Water Added.
All kinds of good stuff...with 1449 kilojoules, 31 grams of protein, 42.4 grams of carbohydrate in a 90 gram bar!
Because they are so concentrated, I find it much easier to eat one of these bars rather than an equivilent amount of "real food".
There are plenty of similar products around made by Musashi etc.

ok I can understand losing weight by eating too much biscuits...
but I can't understand losing weight by smoking the green. The munchies you would all get by smokin it heaps would, uhh, make ya fatter wouldnt it? i mean when i have munchies i dont go and find the healthiest crap I can eat.

Many of my friends have gone through the "its great to lose all this weight and look slim and terrific" but they then go to the next stage where concerned people - friends and family begin to comment on how much weight they have lost and how skinny they look. At this stage it is very hard to see just how thin you are because you see yourself every day and dont really see a gradual weight loss whereas friends and family see u less frequently and can compare your appearance.
The worst stage is when you start losing muscle mass, this happens when your body has eaten up all the fat and starts attacking muscle tissue. This has happened to many of my friends and generally leads to a downward spiral in fitness -
1) going out a lot burns heaps of calories
2) continued clubbing burns off most or all of the fat on your body
3) when the fat is gone the body has to burn something for energy and it resorts to muscle
4) muscle tissue, which is harder to build up than fat, is eaten away
5) the muscle mass isn't replaced during the week and just sits there as fat(since i find i dont really exercise in the week since i am too tired from clubbing)
6) the little bit of fat is burnt off again and even more muscle mass is lost
7) eventually you lose heaps of muscle mass and you are forced to stop or fall sick
I have seen this in many of my friends - one guy had to have his stomach muscles massaged out by paramedics because they seized up since the muscles were so tight.
In addition the rapid weightloss over the weekend causes stress on your body (which is indirectly caused by fluctuations in your body weight) which leads to other things such as hair loss (seen how many clubbers have receding or thinning hair?), tiredness, and susceptibility to diseases (some people i know have had a cold off and on for the last year or so).
I guess what i am trying to say is if you lose weight by pilling there are consequences and it is better to try maintain or gradually lose weight rather than lose it all at once over the weekend.
Another thing is when you stop, even for two weeks, your metabolism hits a brick wall and slows down.

i used to be a bit of a chubby kid maybe 3 or 4 years ago, but now im thin as fuck cuz of bickies and acid.
get this, im a guy, 17 and im just under 60kg. and im not small either im about 5'10 maybe a bit taller.
my mum thinks i take speed, but i hate that shit. ive been like this for about 1 year and a hlaf, maybe a little bit longer, and there is nothing i can do about it, other than to stop takin pills, but i love that shit

I find the best thing to have in the morning after getting home from the big night out, is a milkshake! Yep, nice big one - fills up the stomach a bit, stops those annoying comedown stomach cramps, and one long glass can keep you going all night!

Oh, and yeah if you smoke a lot of dope you will find it hard to put on weight. Because, although you think you eat heaps when ya get the munchies and so on, when you have not had a smoke you will not really have much of a sense of appetite. So you will end up eating ONLY when you have had a smoke. Which is ok, i guess, if you smoke ALL the time... but try not smoking for a week or so and you will find your appetite has come back with a vengeance - you will actually get HUNGRY again, not just think, 'Mmm that would taste good i might eat it'.
