Looking for Input on a Daily Med Cocktail

Hey everyone,

I’m curious to hear what daily regimens work for keeping your mind and body in balance. My doc is suggesting adding an SSRI to my current meds (Adderall, diazepam, and a few others—all taken as needed), but I’d like to shift toward a stable schedule with minimal dependence.

For context, I’ve been on a wide range of meds over the years (Oxycodone, buprenorphine, diazepam, mirtazapine, etc.) and am now focused on managing anxiety, cravings, and intrusive thoughts with a sustainable routine.

If you’re willing to share, what’s your daily cocktail, and how does it help you?

Much love and appreciation!

SSRI are complete trash and have horrible side-effects

Healthy diet, daily exercise 30min cardiovascular even
Vit B50 complex, Zinc, Omega 3 fatty fish oil, lots of water

Bupropion (Wellbutrin) is a safer antidepressant but might have DDI with your Amphetamines because Bupropion features a beta Ketone Amphetamine skeletal backbone structure ....although acts as a weak dopamine reuptake inhibitor and more potently Norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor......so might cause unsafe increase in BP & HR

Lyrica (Pregabalin) has great mood-boosting properties and an effective anxiolytic

Tramadol is also a great antidepressant weak opioid but again might have some problematic DDI's with your meds....due to SERT & NET reuptake inhibition MOA

Ask your doc.....

Have you tried Abilify? I have had a past use alot like yours. And I'm on anti anxiety meds also they have had me on every SSRI out there and it never ends well. So we took a different approach and they put me on some drug I can't even remember the name it started with a L but this drug about killed me. I had rashes and sudden panic and the empathy I had that keeps non psychotic went away and I was like a rock. I kinda liked it but the rash no. So one day I had a break and I told my therapist and the entire office what I thought about the whole war on drugs and people overdosing and why and why it will never be fixed. After that they triple my klonpin and the put me on Abilify which helps to enhance the klonpin they work well together and Abilify is a feel good drug uping the dopamine and serotonin both so maybe look into that

Sorry but you're wrong. It does the opposite of upping serotonin and dopamine, it's an antagonist at both and is in among the most dangerous class of drugs long term (antipsychotics). Nor is it a feel good drug, it will simply stop you from thinking (which I admit feels good if you want to die). Look into tardive dyskinesea, the BMJ declared APs more deadly than terrorism, they cause brain damage. Please don't recommend this shit to people who aren't psychotic and if you aren't yourself, look into getting off it.

Part of what made my recovery from anxiety and depression successful was ceasing all psychiatric drugs (slowly).

So often I held onto hope that maybe 'this new drug 'will be the one that does it. But it never did. Some drugs made symptoms I had easier to manage, but none of them made life worth living.

I know this isn't what you're asking but sometimes it's useful to consider what can be done without medicines.

Try serotonine modulátor - vortioxetine, combined with diazepam to eliminated first 7 days of possible worsening of depression. IT will raise your serotonine, noradrenalinu and dopamine without building tolerance to it. Diazepam Will help with anxiety, sleep, overstimilation of CNS.
Use tramadol as an as needed SNRI opioid painkiller. Slowly reduce everything and try to stay ONLY on vortioxetine and maybe 1 more medication.
