This is really for all the true stoners out there.

I will have to admit that I have not gone more than 4 - 5 days without smoking weed in the past year.

I don't know if this is a good thing....but it's been fun.

I have also tried to theorize on percentage of total time stoned last year...when when you take into account the hours which you are sleeping, I estimate to be well over 75% of the time.

i usually end up taking a couple of months break once a year to either reset my tolerance or save up money. the first break i took was after almost a year of heavy smoking, i had to stop shit from slipping/ get into a different crowd.

Yea im seriously thinking about taking a month or two break to just get my shit back in order. Ive been constantly smoking for about two years now and its time for a break.

the only thing that's bad about taking a break for me is i keep waking up in cold sweats. although today (day 4) was alot better than the past few days. other than that, taking a break makes me feel like a new man, as long as i find something to occupy myself.

Ever since I started smoking daily, a little under a year ago, I have not gone through more than a week without smoking, and only a couple of times. I need to take a break so I can get a job.

Same with me. If I take a break, for the first week or so without smoking, I have a lot of trouble sleeping.

I am the same as haikod and rhinogrey.

I gave up weed for lent this year, and the first three nights I got to sleep ok, but would wake up tossing and turning about three hours later, and then fail to sleep again for the whole night. I wouldn't even classify myself as a heavy user.

However, I feel much less muggy now, got a clear head on my shoulders, able to concentrate more etc. And i've only been clean two weeks or so.

I've been on probation for exactly 1 year and 12 days. So with the random U.A.'s I could only smoke for about a week after each test. So my longest break was six months followed by another 3 month break.

You know the shittiest part is I am on unsupervised probation now but my probation officer being the dick that he is, said the judge didn't specify when the tests should be stopped so I'm still going to get them for the next year. FUUUCK!!

Sorry that was a little off topic but I'm pissed and needed to vent

Every week i go like 4,5 days w/ no smoke,
i do that so my tolerance it's always mid-low.
the only bad thing it's having to see your friends smoking and knowing that
i could be smoking too.

^ yea true but in the long run its so much better. i have gone a month before, and now its just once a week and one hit and im high as the sky

Well eever since i got into trouble, its been over a year. And i used to smoke daily. Its been a crazy year without it.
Spice products just dont cu it

The last time I smoked was on New Years of 2007-2008. So a year and two months is the longest I have gone.

i dont think i have ever gone more than a week throughout my whole smoking career. I have been able to kick my hardcore drug habit for the most 2 months then went back into it.

Nine months without a daily smoke, ending a few years ago.. I smoked maybe five times in those months.

All the time before and since I never went 24 hours without a smoke. In fact, I am high as I type this:)

two months is my longest break.

i've also spent several months smoking only once or twice a week. overall, in seven years, i've probably had 4-6 months of non-smoking days.

it's never very difficult to take a break (i'm real into endurance sports, so sleep and appetite aren't much of a problem), but it is rare that i have enough reason to want to.

12 days, I think has been my longest break and that was because I was down south in Myrtle Beach and was too paranoid to bring weed in case of search dogs/security. I got used to having no weed but when you're eating at restaurants and playing golf a few times a week enjoying vacation, it ain't hard to do.
