Longboard Question

My girlfriend's 16yo son wants a longboard, ok, cool .....

However, he weighs nearly 300 pounds (135kg) and is 6'4" (193cm).

Any suggestions on one he won't snap immediately?
 
get one that has lots of plys... anyway, skateboards are pretty strong. I've had cars run them over without them breaking.

idk where to get them but i do know that hawaiians are some BIG dudes and I see them on long boards all the time so I know they're out there!!
 
Skateboarding right?... If you go into any skate shop or place that makes/sell longboards they should be able to help you figure out weight-board size raito no problem. You'd be surprised how much weight those things can take.
 
Thanks all. I'd hoped to get one online, but now I'm convinced a shop is the better answer. :)
 
^ Absolutely. Especially since you're in California. You should have no problem finding a good board shop there, where someone can handle the size and other concerns.
 
If your talking about a surfboard then you have no probs, lots and lots of really big guys surf so im sure theres something out there for him.

Skateboards im not so sure, skateboards and big guys dont usually mix.
