Long Term Test Replacement

I am age 36 male. I have been on test replacement for 5 years. I don't currently work out. My test natural test level was 80 when I started on replacement. Now I run in the 500 range. Feel great, put on 20 pounds since starting.

What Test level does a person on a cycle reach? I read that you should take 500 mg/wk to see results. I currently take 200mg/week. Would this amount produce any gains?

Long term replacement has a few side effects. Bloodwork every 3 months, right now my red blood count is too high, I have to cut back for a while to see if they return to normal. Have to watch my diet, and I still have borderline high cholesterol, and my testicles have shrunk to a very small size. I used to say that I would "sack whip" my wife, describing my balls slapping her while we were having sex, now I am having alot of sex, just not whipping her with my sack anymore!! Who needs big nuts anyway, as long as my tool stays big.

I currently take test cypionate 200 mg/ml.

Oh, and my wife says the test has made me into a short tempered prick. I think she is used to it now, but at first she reminded me several times that my attitude had changed.

I don't know about you guys, but since I started replacement, I feel like I could fight a tiger after a shot. I don't like to fight, but if I get pissed off, I won't back down. Before replacement, I was timid, quiet, now not so much.

Your question is somewhat confusing. Of course it will produce gains. Even at your old Test level of 80 you would have gotten some gains if you ate and trained enough.

But if you're asking this on a supra-physiological scale, 200mg/week is unlikely to provide steroid-like gains because most males who are 18-25 have a natural Test level similar to what you are at right now, around 600. Take advantage of this and eat lots, lift heavy.

Not sure, felt like shit for a long time, mild depression, no energy, decided to get checked out when my sex drive went out. After I started replacement, my dad told me he had been on replacement for years. We both worked a bad train derailment/chemical spill. Seems like symptoms started sometime after. Or could be genetic.

I read in a thread on this site that pro bodybuilders stay on test for long periods of time. The posts make it sound like they never come off cycle. If this is true, how do they deal with negative side effects such as
Elevated Red Blood Count
Elevated Cholesterol
Liver Damage?

I am on HRT for life currently on Test Cypionate 200 mg/week which maintains a testosterone score of 500-600. It seems that I am on a lower, but similiar in length cycle compared to a pro bodybuilder. I am currently experiencing all three of the above negative side effects proven by bloodwork that I have monitored every three months.

My doc wants to lower the test to try to lower the RBC,s cho, and liver enzymes.

Is there anything else I can do to help?

Also, my wife and I are thinking of trying to have another baby. For our last one, my doc had me stop the Test cold turkey. Took 6 months of no energy. Depression, weakness, low sex drive before I started producing sperm again. My wife became pregnant, and I resumed HRT. All of my low t symptoms went away within two days of the first Cypionate injection.

Last doc visit, he offered me HCG injections so I don't have to go through the long period of waiting for my naturals to kick in.

If HCG raises natural testosterone, why not treat my low t with HCG instead of Cypionate? I asked him and he just said no, no real answer. Is it bad for you long term? What are the side effects as opposed to the ones I am experiencing now on the Cyp?

Thanks

Damn it seems that a higher than average test. level could have withdrawal symptoms from how you describe it. :| That sucks!!! I'm so glad I am still not using exogenous testosterone then.

Since no test, what do you use for health/performance if you don't mind me asking?

I used nothing last time. I am currently on Testosterone replacement. When I get off to attempt a pregnancy with my wife, my doc has offered me HCG. I have never used it before, so it will be a new experience.

If the negative side effects don't go away with lower doses, I will have to find an alternative to keep me operating at the level the testosterone has me.

Why did you go off to get your wife prego? My doc never mentioned anything and he's on-the-ball with HRT data.

Before HRT, my total test was 191. After transdermal shit and finally on injectible at 200mg/wk I run 600-800. If I run injections in my delts only, I can get up to almost 1300! Lipids, when I ate like shit it was reflected in my numbers. Although one time, I ate so clean my HDL was 18! Freaked out my doc. Blood pressure has been high as of late, running 140/90(ish). Asymptomatic otherwise. Doc might medicate me. Hematocrit/hemoglobin, was pretty high and I just felt like shit. I went and donated 2 pints of double red cells. Back to feeling great with HBP =D

That's right. Pro bodybuilders never come off. They might cruise at a low dose for a bit butsoon it's back to high doses and stacks of different AAS.

Elevated Red Blood Cell count is actually a side effect bodybuilders like. It means bigger pumps, more vascularity, more energy, more nutrients being carried to the muscles, and more endurance and strength.

Cholesterol can be controlled with diet and medication.

Liver damage from steroids can be negated with Milk Thistle, pharmacuticals that stimulate bile secretion and breaks between oral steroid use. Only oral steroids that are methylated to prevent breakdown by the liver cause liver damage. Injectable steroids can be used long term with no ill effects on the liver.

Believe me I tried to get prego many times with no luck before goo g to see endocrine doc. He said that the test had probably shut down all natural test and semen production. After 6 months I guess I had built up a live batch. I have to say, off the test, I had no sex drive, kind of hard to make a baby, but I did.

High RBC's increase a chance of stroke. Is what I was told.

Like I said in an earlier post, testicular atrophy has definitely taken place. Balls are 1/2 size from when I was 18. Good thing I'm married. I'm not sure if it would be a problem if I was dating in today's market. Wife doesn't mind, so I don't either. Good thi g I have a large tool. Lol

Testosterone alone isn't going to increase your RBC to stroke risk levels. If you were running a gram of it along with 900mg of Equipoise and 100mg of Tren you might have a chance. Don't worry and don't buy into that shit. A nice dose of Testosterone will only benefit your health, especially these days with all the xenoestrogens in the water supply, plastics, and food.

Testicular atrophy is nothing to worry about as well. I'm 26 and I'm sure there are children with larger testes than mine. I could bring them up to size with HCG but why bother? My girlfriend never even noticed when I got on gear, she actually thought my dick got bigger lol.

If for some reason you ever become self conscious about your testicle size or if anyone out there reading this thread is, a few HCG injections will have your balls swinging low again and it's a pretty cheap compound and never faked.

However be careful using HCG if you are getting any type of urine tests done in a medical setting because you will test positive for being pregnant and I'm certain questions will be asked out of curiosity.
