lithium and mdma

is it ok to take mdma while on lithium? Is it safe? Ive heard lithium mixes badly with lsd and shrooms and even weed but there is no solid evidence i can find that sais how mdma and lithium interact.

I'm in the same boat as you, assuming you have bipolar disorder. I take effexor, buspar, and lamictal. I'm looking for similar info as you. From what i've figured out so far, there isn't a dangerous reaction between the meds and the mdma, but there is with your disorder and the mdma. It will make the lithium stop working and could send you on a manic spiral. Unless you are on it for seizures, then i dont know. Isn't it strange how people with mental disorders start using drugs? Guess were all just a bunch of fucked up people.

Lithum was used as a legal ecstasy in the UK for a very short time because there was an individual that was taking it more than frequently. It was sold as a E knock off in a tube with just a brand label and no ingredient lable. Well when this individual died from adverse chemical reactions they tested him and found large amounts of MDMA and lithium. They said the lithium was the one to blame because it built up in his system.

Then the show went on and on about how dangerous ecstasy alternatives are if used to frequently and how the UK was wildly approving substances with little to no reasch
