In a swirly place where color changes to liquids,
I find that light-shows can be one of the best things to look at while tripping.

For example there is a 3 floor building set up to be a huge DJ house in my city. Each floor has different DJs, and thousand upon thousands of dollars worth of sound / light equipment.

While peaking on 4 hits of strong LSD + 30mg of 2C-E I stumbled into this place while they were playing dubstep / psytrance style music. I could feel the light on my clothing even when it was out of sight i knew it was touching me and exactly where on my body it was touching, also the whole room sort of inverted and the people were glowing opposite colors of the light that they were under which began to pulse with the music.

I don't know if this gave me a huge body high or if I was just way too blown away by this experience but I stood in the middle of the room looking around at the visual waves pulsing in the air.

In this overwhelming state my senses seemed confused and I completely understood what was meant by "Hearing color and seeing sound."

laser shows <3

if you live near seattle, you MUST go to the laserdome at the pacific science center. i've seen Laser Floyd The Wall several times after a bowl of dank, but haven't been able to secure a ride for higher escapades (i was the driver most times). laser radiohead is bomb too

check your local cities for laser shows

Sounds amazing and I love "Pink Floyd - The wall" soooo much, I wish I lived near seattle but im in canada. Maybe this summer I'll fly there to check it out but then my problem would be finding drugs once I land.
 
Light shows are cool on psychedelics i had one freaky incident with mescaline where i was giving my girl a light show with blue and red glowsticks and then she mentions something about the police mid light show and i saw the blue and red light on her head and it freaked me out for a second as if we were being to loud and the police may be there any minute. Milkdrop for winamp is a really cool program on psychedelics. Rave lights/strobe lights are always fun.
 
i love looking at lights whilst on a psych. espcecially glowsticks and led lights. i spend hours just staring at my spinny ligt orb thing when im on lucy, after a while i can control where the lights spin and fall further and further into it. hurray for lights and psychs
 
Lights and computer visuals are amazing on psy's.

I have a projector connected to my laptop, and i just downloaded Electric Sheep ( award winning computer visual program) And it looks amazing when you just lay there and let the projektor light over you and your friends. We dont even look at the picture, only the projekters light comming out! GOOSH Its amazing on 2c-x. especially if you toke up your room so its filled with smoke :)

Yes, the hearing colors & seeing sound etc is called synesthesia and has actually been studied quite a bit. Really interesting & also a very enjoyable experience, IMO

Synethesia is loads of fun. I remember on my first trip I suddenly tasted red :)
 
The first time I took LSD as a teenager it was very strong and I had a blue Xmas light on in my room and some of the blue coloring on the lightbulb was chipped off so I saw the regular lightbulb underneath and I saw a torrent of fractals and zebra striped pinwheels come off of the rays of the Christmas light and they made interesting sounds as they oscillated wildly and zipped about.
 
I've talked about it somewhere in PD before but the laserpod supernova is probably the coolest in home light you can have IMO. I'm on my phone so I can't link you to the youtube videos but if you search laserpod supernova a bunch of videos for it will come up.
