A selective serotonin releasing agent (SSRA) is a type of drug which selectively induces the release of serotonin from the pre-synaptic neuron into the synapse. This in turn leads to increased extracellular concentrations of serotonin and therefore a selective increase in serotonergic neurotransmission.

Because these compounds selectively release serotonin in the brain but have little effect on dopamine or noradrenaline levels, they can produce empathogenic effects but without any stimulant action, instead being somewhat sedating.

for example 5,6-Methylenedioxy-2-aminoindane (MDAI)
The chemical structure of MDAI is indirectly derived from that of the illicit drug MDA
as i heard its legal..
MDAI and other similar drugs have been widely used in scientific research, as they are able to replicate many of the effects of MDMA, but without causing the neurotoxicity which may be associated with MDMA and some related drugs.

So fianly i ask my question- Are there similiar legal drugs or something like that i can get with prescription? What are the names? Any information about them pls.thx

Ugh, haha, I'm RGB. :P

Unfortunately, I don't have any particularly good answers to the OP's question. :\ All I can say is that I highly doubt MDAI would be obtainable without a lot of trouble (i.e. I don't think it's in any prescription drugs), and that it would be an inferior experience to MDMA, given that MDMA also has significant dopaminergic and norandrenergic effects.

There is a "Big & Dandy" thread on the Psychedelic Drugs forum about it, though: The Big & Dandy MDAI Thread.

Only RGB would know about this thread.

Becoming easier to get (at least in Europe) by the day. Quite a few vendors are stocking or planning to stock it.

Isnt it arguably an "analogue" of MDMA? I mean, if they really wanted to be dicks and fuck with you, couldnt they sort of make that case due to how it was used in research?

And no its not that hard to get really. Not if you know where to look.

It's very tenuously arguably an analogue. You can't really deem the "methylene-dioxy group on this part of the phenyl ring" the basis of a definition for "substantially similar structures". Then again, we could see a judge truly drop the ball before a persuasive prosecutor.
...
That I know of, there's not really a prescription drug which fits your bill. para-idio-amphetamine (iirc) at lower doses was once used as an anti-depressant, but it turned out to be hideously neurotoxic The pharm industry seems hell bent on patenting 342432432 'new' SSRIs and SNRIs rather than exploring releasers.

ebola

Hey, isnt there a releaser that is used as an antidepressant in Europe, but the drug companies dropped the ball (or deliberately ruined the patent) so that it could never be sold in the US?

Its almost like they want to dumb us down rather than wake us up.

As far as I know (but I don't know much) there are various drugs that release serotonin. Alas they don't have the effect of mdma. This leaves the question of what is it exactly about the mdma molecule that causes the ecstasy high.
