i currently take oxy, roxy and soma.i told my supervisor a year ago i was on them and he said as long as i have an rx im fine.today i got popped for a drug test.i was told i had slurred speech, mood swings and glossy eyes.they know it will be positive so the next step they want to take is call my doctor and ask if im capable of driving a forklift, load dog and machinery.can they do that? if its so dangerous why would i be able to keep my drivers license?your thoughts please

Drug test related questions aren't really allowed here.... You're question is kind of strange though so I'm not sure if this thread will be closed or not...

I'm sure you know that there's a label on your prescription bottles that says not to operate heavy machinery when taking the medication. Opiates can impair you pretty highly depending on the dosage. If you really had slurred speech and glossy eyes, no you shouldn't be operating heavy machinery for you and mostly for the safety of others.

The last thing a company needs is some sort of lawsuit because you fucked up using a forklift and injured someone else because you were high on oxycodone.
