Around the net I've noticed many sites touting legal alternatives to Extacy, Speed, and the like. I don't want to point out any particular vendors, but in general are these sites serious or are they just a big rip off?

Rip off. They are generally a mix of caffeine, various herbs, 5HTP and if you're in certain countries, epherdine too.

Nothing like the real thing and likely will just make you feel crappy.

Yeah all those herbal extacy things all suck. Most of them do absolutely nothing and some just make you feel like you drank an energy drink. Not even close to the effects of mdma.

some countries allow the sale of piperazines. eg tfmpp and bzp. theyre crappy highs compared to meth or mdma, but pretty good compared to caffiene etc

In the US, the general rule is that if a substance is sold AS a 'natural high' (implied or explicit) it's almost certainly crap. There are some interesting herbal drugs, but they're sold AS specific single natural products (complete with scientific names), none of this 'proprietary mix' or 'special blend' crap.

In the US, if it comes in a commercially packaged product (capsules, tablets, beverages) it's almost certainly junk (usually herbs containing caffeine.) The REAL 'legal' highs (like ayahuasca herbs, Hawaiian baby woodrose seeds, 'research chemicals', etc.) are never explicitly sold for human consumption. If a company is openly selling something FOR human consumption, that's a good sign that it doesn't contain anything close enough to a proper drug for the government to care.

Ah, I hope this isnt against rules, if it is please delete, but what 'bout *snip*

Sorry, not allowed

As has been said, they're generally a mix of over-the-counter stimulants and 5-HTP.

If that's your thing, then certainly do it, but you're much better off purchasing the individual ingredients separately. You'll get much better value for money

haha if your going to try to get high.. you might aswell take the extra step and just do esctacy.. ive tried a few of those 'legal high' products myself and there worthless... if there trying to give a alternative to esctacy most of them are dissapointing enough to get pissed off and just to go out and get some x haha.. i dont know if there trying to give people a way to quit or if there just trying the legal thing but either way its failed.. that water shit like fireball says is wow... kicks my ass!!

if you're looking for legal highs, look no further than magic mushrooms.

Well, in the UK they won't be legal soon :( but there'll be ways around it for sure.

Hell, ketamine is "legal" in some Asian countries.. if you're prepared to travel you can get lots of good legal highs :)

Why do that? thats like paying damn much money just to get high legal when u can get high unlegal :) Its enough when im on pills and want more pills and pay like 60 euros (taxi) to get 2 more pills imo :D

Your exactly right. Any decent "legal highs" are generally kept far away from the mainstream. The GOOD highs are sort of quasi-legal, things like 2c-i and such, and are rather easily imported, but you must find a good source ;)

Aye, the problem is, I can't get my hands on anything yet! I've heard you can get quasi-legals on the net, but I haven't found where yet.

Is ketamine not legal in most places, albeit not as a recreational drug?

Assuming you weren't planning on purchasing research chemicals for the purpose of getting high, you could legally purchase them online... i would mention a URL but don't know if the mods would edit my post.... but then again, if you were really determined you could find one yourself!

They are NOT legal, because it'll be quite obvious to everyone what you're buying them for, since I doubt many (if any) of you work in a chemical lab, have the required training or even the chemistry knowledge to be able to bullshit your way past the police (which they wouldn't believe anyway).

Should anyone make the error of asking for sources (again), warnings will be dished out. Consider this a friendly notice.
