Why is there a dichtomy between how threads are labeled? After lurking I noticed things labeled "sticky" describe the thread started instead of last poster. Can this be anonymously delivered to the "Support" sub-forum?
 
What do you mean by dichotomy?

"sticky" threads are deemed more important and in some places the mods ask you to read them first.
 
By dichotomy i am talking about the phraseology of "started by" vs. "last post by"
 
I am not sure there is a dichotomy, unless the sticky threads are closed they function the same as all other threads.
 
Try opening a subforum on the "mobile version," then open it up again on "desktop." You'll see what I mean.
