Ah, I figured there would already be a thread somewhere in the bowels of NEMD on this band. I'm in love with self-titled, Life is peachy, follow the leader, and issues but didn't listen to anything after issues came out. Listening to self-titled right now my appreciation for them was renewed, definitely one of the best bands of the nineties/early 2000s. Why did monkey have to find jesus and fuck up the cohesion? i'm convinced losing original members of any band fucks up things beyond belief even if they just play the bass or something.

Discuss Korn and their awesomeness.

My 5th grade teachers used to make me flip my korn shirts inside out. Besides that, awesome, I just downloaded follow the leader today, I havent heard those songs in soo long.

My sentiments exactly! Loved them in high school, I still pop on their first album every now and then for old-times-sake. I saw them live a couple of years ago and at the time one of the support acts (Disturbed) put on a better show. Would have loved to have seen them between 1995-2000....

are you ready?!.....

yeah, i saw them open for kmfdm back in 94-95-ish, in support of the s/t album.

'twas a good show.

saw them a few years later at woodstock '99. it was ok, but we left a little early to make sure we could make it over to the other stage in time for the chemical brothers.

I was an insane KoRn freak back when I was in like 4th grade. I ended up meeting the original band and I have their autograph laying around. Head lived up the street from me at one point and I ended up seeing him at the market one day before he moved to Israel to be "closer to god". I now dont listen to them any more, but at one point KoRn was all I listened to.

Saw them a few times before they broke up as well. A somewhat good live show. Played all their hits, but they're not that enthusiastic when it comes to playing a show. I like it when the band can get into it with the audience. It makes it a bit more fun and personal, rather than the band just goes up does their thing and splits without saying a word to the audience.

I saw them twice.. once was a last minute surprise show and once was in support of Issues... I thought they brought a raw energy that was uncommon and they interacted with the crowd a lot..... at least at the planned show, the surprise 45 minute show was non-stop hits they played and then got out, didnt say anything to the crowd except the release date of the new cd, but I guess the surprise show was supposed to be like that ....

Huh...odd. Both times I saw them they said virtually nothing to the crowd. :\

Oh well, they said something to me when I met them :)
