So SWIM (seriously.) who is a heavy Opiate user with a very high tolerance snorted around 100-150 mg of blues today and around 8pm swallowed a .50 mg Klonopin. SWIM fell asleep for a little bit and woke up and was acting very strange. SWIM was walking around nodding out like a zombie, which is normal for late in the evening when SWIM has done a lot of oxy, but normally SWIM snaps out of it. This time SWIM did not snap out of it and on top of physically acting like a zombie he started talking nonsense and was not making sense at all. This has been going on for over three hours now. I just found him standing in the dark kitchen upstairs with a zuchinni and banana eating it with a fork and knife and the smoke alarm going off because he put the ovenon and just left it on. I keep trying to get him to just lay down but he insists he "is fine" and continues to keep doing random shit and smoking countless cigarettes outside and talking about things that don't exist. It's like he's sleep walking, except he does not sleep walk. Like I said this has happened before, but normally he snaps out of it in a minute or two and realizes "wow I just blacked out I dont know why I said that" but this time that isn't happening. If anyone has ever had this happen to them before it would make me feel a lot better if you shared that with me. I'm not sure if I should just try and get him to go to bed or try and keep him up or what but he is seriously acting like he has alzheimers or something and I'm freaking out. Thank you in advance.

Even if it is really a friend..just say a friend...SWIM is against the rules.

And his problem I am sure is the combination of the two...he just took too much. As long as he is not in any distress (breathing fine and no signs or symptoms of OD he should be fine. Laying down probably better so he doesn't hurt himself, just keep a watchful eye. Maybe suggest to him not to take so much next time.

Oh i'm sorry , I did not know about SWIM being against the rules..I literally just joined trying to find a forum to post this question on and most have always suggested or required they use swim. Thank u for letting me know though. But yeah this is my boyfriend we are talking about, weve been together for 8 years and he has done this before and have done SOO much more other instances than this one..and this has never happened this bad. I'm hoping someone will come along and tell me this happened to them or someone they know and they slept it off..:/

he can sleep it off. i've been a dope fiend/xanax fiend for years and have mixed the two many times. it's a VERY LETHAL mixture but if you're telling me SWIM has done 150MG's a day of 30's and it's his first time doing a xanny and has ONLY TAKEN .5 then he SHOULD BE FINE. of course, I always worry when it comes to drugs and new people doing new things but this has been done many times. .5 is not a concern but you never know how someone reacts to a certain type of drug/combination of drugs. its best just to keep SWIM laying down and sitting within an arms length away; making sure all is well and nothing is out of the ordinary.

best of luck.

Thanks so much.. So he never snapped out of it and after MUCH persistance from him I got him into bed and he fell asleep practically seconds after finally putting his head on the pillow. He woke up around 11 today and I kind of looked at him with a side eye and said..are you..normal.? and he said yes.. im fine. He doesn't really remember much of what he did last night, didn't even know we spent 4 hours on the couch watching Game oF Thrones with his mother... He almost lit the house on fire by turning the oven on and leaving it on with nothing in it.. but in the long run, he slept it off and he's okay. Thank you so much for the reassurance. can't wait to check out these forums now that I'm not in crisis. lol Today he just did his normal blues and no Kpins and all was well..thank goodness.

tell him to keep away. it's a waste of opiates when mixing w/ benzo's. so many times ill get my hands on good dope and then down benzo's and before you know it im sleeping or blacked out and dont remember the "good" feeling of the opiates. it's the opiates i am addicted to but it's the benzo's that make me a junkie. well, they both make me a junkie but it's my junkie ways of me chasing something that i dont even enjoy but its considered a drug so i still chase those xanny. sad.

glad your man is OK; tell him to smarten up.
