So, will you? I don't know to many fans of the show, but I think its easily the funniest animated sitcom hands down. It has a unique sort of humor that just keeps me laughing, though I don't think everyone 'gets' the jokes . When I think about Hank referring to the "Bunco Squad" I still lol.

I think its a shame that it was cancelled and filled by The Cleveland Show, between that, Family Guy, and American Dad, it should be the "sunday night MacFarlane block".

Any other fans? I feel like such a great show deserves an equally great sendoff. I'm gonna go drown my sorrows in a can of Alamo now, and have a round for a great show that can only now be syndicated.

i'll miss that guy.

king of the hill >>>>>>>>> any mcfarlane stuff

but i haven't had cable in years so i've missed the last few seasons. back in the day it was the only show i'd go out of my way to watch.

Most definitely, KOTH was one of my favorite shows! Ive always loved the dry sense of humor, and I was sad to see it go =/

also in before amor. :)

I'm sad its gone, but im happy its still in syndication. The classic episodes don't get old for me, but the newest ones weren't as good-- so I'm resigned to my fate.

this show was one of the best ideas for an animated series ever. every character was excellent.

All good things must come to an end, they can't go on forever. And tbh, this lasted a lot longer than I ever thought it would. I followed it avidly during the early days, even picked up a few series on DVD, but totally lost track of it in recent times. Funny time slots and whatnot.

Luanne was always a firm favourite of mine, also Peggy always tickled me somewhat. =D

^ Some Luanne quotes are absolutely classic. :)

Though I love this show I agree that it was waning and probably was the best point for it to stop forcing episodes.

My favorite episodes are

- "Solider of Misfortune" - the one where Hank fakes a mission for Dale to deliver a briefcase in attempt to bolster his confidence
- "Returning Japanese" (both parts) - the one where they go to Japan when Hank finds out he has a half-brother
- "Pretty Pretty Dresses" - the one where Bill dresses up as Lenore
- anything that references Chuck Mangione

Thanks God it's syndicated.

King of the Hill is my favourite animated series after The Simpsons. A lot of people I know seem to find it "boring" though but I don't understand how. The characters are very real and flawed but ultimately good people which is probably why they're so easy to care about.

Woo just saw there was an hour long series finale that I haven't seen as well as 4 episodes yet to air excellent :)

Better than 90% of the live action "sitcoms" people consider comedy today. Been a fan ever since it came out, though I watch it less than I used to. Partly it's because I can identify with the characters and setting as a Texan, but mainly it's because the series is an absolutely pitch-perfect balance of comedy, drama, and satire, and without a single disposable main character. Judge is a genius, though I'm sorry to say that his latest animated installment The Goodes has none of King of the Hill's understated brilliance.

I forgot I created this thread for a day or two lol. I guess if I could say anything about the show was that it had a good run, and ended in a way that would make Hank Hill proud.

The show never got syndicated much where I live (no cable), unlike the simpsons/family guy. So when it does air theirs a good chance its a show I haven't seen yet, or at least haven't seen it 10 times already.

It's hands down one of my top 5 shows on TV and has been for a while.

I'm glad there's reruns, that's for sure. :)

About it being taken off the air, it's okay in my book. It's gotten old and they're running thin. Recent seasons have been really going down. Pretty much ever since Lucky got added it's bee going down. There's been some good stuff since he got added but in general I think it's be degrading. Just let it go.

Long live classic King of the Hill! :) <3
