Ketamine crystal experience.

Hello fellow Bluelighters!

Long time lurker fist time poster here. I have a question for the Ketamine users here. I recently got hold of some liquid ket(pharma grade) and dried it out into crystal. I then scraped it off with a sharp knife and card.

Now I know there is a long running debate about even turning the crystal into powder, but I just left it as is(finely scraped crystal off the bowl.

Now the other day, I snorted about 50 mg (approx. 25mg each nostril). the right side went fine as usual; however, when I snorted the rest on my left side, I incurred a tremendous burning sensation in my left nostril and left side of my head! it was really unpleasant! At first I started to freak out a bit, but the great thing about ketamine is that robot state that just overrides everything else. So, I calmed down pretty quickly.

Now, My questions are: have You guys ever experienced such an unpleasant sensation.

Could it have been due to the crystals not cut enough?

and was that left side nostril/head burn cause for concern?

if it was legit K, then there should not be any burning. if you have the real deal then you probably need to chop it up more. when i first started cooking down vials i was definitely surprised at the amount of chopping that was needed, you are better off chopping more than you should so you dont waste your goods.

PROTIP: add a couple drops of vanilla extract to the vial next time before you cook it down, makes the drip delicious!

Our nostrils are usually in somewhat different condition from one another, and snorting anything can burn in the right circumstance. I mean, water can burn so you bet your ass a crystalline powder can also. It was probably something extremely trivial.

K can definitely burn, but it's not that bad. It's not like an MDMA burn or the dreaded 2cx burns
Also chop your crystal very fine for maximum soy face area coverage.
Also I'm not sure if this was from improperly chopped k or just my long binge but after binges where I get to lazy to finely bust up my ketamine I notice my nose usually begins to bleed after a few days doing this

Crush up them crystals or they will cause some pain. I'll sometimes forget to finely crush up the crystals and after going on a bender my nose is pretty raw. I can snort up both nostrils and one will burn more than the other. Doesn't even compare to MDMA or Meth as far as burn though.

Your nose is fine, but if it keeps burning or starts to really bleed then I'd be concerned.

Thanks a bunch for the response guys. It really cleared things up. I guess the more freaky part was that the left side of my head was also burning up. I guess I liken it to the brain freeze of a cold ice cream eaten too fast; however in this case it was a burning sensation. I was paranoid thinking the crystals were cutting my insides. lol Anyhow, I'll probably use a mortar & pestle to really crush those pesky crystals up. I don't think I'll opt to re cook the crystalline powder, as I find that to be overkill.

Also, as far as bleeding, I haven't bled yet. Although one of my friends was bleeding quite a bit not too long ago. Though that was on a cocaine binge. Dude didn't even notice it at first. lol

Just even put the crystal wrapped in a dollar bill and crush it up with a lighter and run it over with a card to make it much more fine.
A pestle and mortar could be kind of messy plus lots of product stuck the sides.
