Keeping it in the Freezer?

I keep my EZ Tester in the freezer to hopefully make it last longer. My question is will that make the reaction slow down?
It seems like every pill I test the reaction is slow. I recently tested a pill that should have taken less than two seconds to black. It took 5 seconds to even start changing to purple. And at 10 seconds it was black. Every pill I have tested has done this same thing.

What if 'room temperature' is particularly warm? My flat gets very warm this time of year, and I was wondering if it might be an idea to keep my test kit in the fridge.
