Cocaine Kanthal Resistance Wire The New Brillo

Today i tried smoking some crack cocaine with my one hitter and didn't have any brillo, so i balled up some 30ga kanthal wire, that i use for making clapton coils, and it worked better than chore boy in my opinion. I also feel like it would last longer and would not release any toxic fumes like the chore boy does.
Have any of you tried this?

you can use any non-melting metal, chore boy is just convenient

i don't expect there's "toxic fumes" released, maybe you are seeing the oils from your hands burning off on the metal?

I don't man, I know a guy who has seizures and memory problems after smoking crack throughout his life (clean now) and insists the doctors told him it was from a build up of copper in his body/brain from the chore. this is just what he insists though, I wouldn't know, I've taken like 2 or 3 hits of crack in my life and didn't feel any of them so I've never looked into it.
