IME one 8 mg dilaudid does not feel as potent as two 4 mg tabs. Anyone else notice the same when IVing them?

Sorry can't help ya there, but my guess would be absorption... A single dose of amps for example may not absorb as well as 2 seperate doses of amps.

Just the way it is
 
Sorry for the double post:

It also has a very poor oral BA, taking 2 tablets instead of one will increase the BA since you have to break apart 2 seperate pills in your stomache instead of one (Your body has to break down the drug from the binders which will increase absorption)
 
Oh well in that case quite possibly the amount of binders in there will be more binders in the actual cotton leaving less room for the drug

You can get the same high from both it's just going to take more work for the 8mg i'm guessing

I don't know for sure but I have to bet on the binders

K2, K4 & K8's no longer exist. Knoll was bought out by Abbott in the mid 90's, Abbott then sold the the Dilaudid brand to Purdue a few years back.
 
So could expiration be the culprit? haha

No, if he actually had real K Dillys from the mid 90's they would still be fine. What I meant was people incorrectly call any IR Hydromorphone pill K's.

K's where Hypodermic pills that could be used orally or backloaded in a syringe, shaken ("Cold Shaken") and slammed safely, the later Dilaudids could not.
 
^Using the "k" terminology is on par with calling marijuana "weed" even though it's cannabis sativa/indica, etc. How about M4?
 
I have noticed that after using 4mg IV,I can then do 2mg Iv and i seem to get as high as i would if i had done another 4mg IV.Strange dunno why..hydromorphone is a weird drug i guess altho i like it..
 
u sure ur prepping everything correctly? if you're new to prepping pills for IVing your technique might be a little off with getting the most hydromorphone out of each pill, which would be why using 2 pills will achieve better results.
