JWH's and probation?

Mod - if this doesn't belong in cannabis feel free to move.

Okay, so if someone is on probation, and they have drug testing, is it possible that JWH (018 or 073) will cause a false positive for THC or any other drug? Furthermore, are there any legal problems one would face if a law enforcement officer found either of the two in an herbal blend (with or without probabtion)?
Is it a violation of probation to consume herbal blends that cause intoxication?

It doesn't seem so as the 'Spice' products were marketed to those in your same, unfortunate position. No one has yet complained about failing a drug test because of JWH.

If the conditions of your probation include you not using any alcohol, I'd believe yes -- it would be a violation. However, if your conditions say nothing about alcohol usage, then I would believe not as obviously the court knows alcoholic beverages are intoxicating and if you're not restricted from them then the court assumes you may use them.

If you're under 21, obviously it's illegal for you to drink anyways, so in that case, I don't know what to tell you but I would absolutely believe if you were arrested and convicted of narcotics possession that logic should state that these JWH chemicals are not for you, legally speaking.
 
What does JWH-018 have to do with alcoholic beverages?

If you live outside of the few countries they've been prohibited like France, Germany, and Austria then JWH-018 and JWH-073 are uncontrolled substances. That means they are like sugar and water and table salt, and nobody can tell you what to do with them.

The only possible way you could be in violation of probation is if there is a clause stating that you will not become 'intoxicated'. In that case, showing up to a probation meeting blazed as fuck on JWH-018 with a bad case of red eyes is about the only way you'd actually face a petition to revoke probation. Mere possession of JWH-018 or -073 without evidence of consumption for purposes of intoxication, or possession of 'herbal blends', is not going to violate any probation agreement I've ever read or heard of.
 
and if there was no condition about not being intoxicated then he could go to his probation officer blazed as fuck on JWH? just wondering
 
It's not advisable. In most states, a probation officer can file a petition to revoke, which often times will result in your arrest with no possibility of bail. It will then take weeks or months of jail before you get to court and get released because the charges were bullshit. The probation officer can simply write up the petition to say that you came in to the meeting "high on marijuana", and you can't do anything about it until your court date.

Once you are on probation, the case officer assigned to you often has complete control of your life. There is no need for a new crime to be committed, just paperwork filed with the court from the PO saying that you've violated the terms of the probation agreement contract. I am not quite sure what gives certain probationers the ability to get bailed out while awaiting their probation violation hearing, but most people seem to spend at least a few weeks waiting in jail with a "HOLD" on them when they get violated.
 
I haven't tried it, but based on reviews, Spice seems even better than just switching to beer for this sort of thing. When I needed to be clean for a couple weeks to apply for a job at a Veterinary Clinic, I was just fine watching movies with friends who were passing a blunt. I missed it, but I actually enjoyed being around weed and seeing people enjoy it, since I couldn't myself. But, just a few days later, at a chillout that ended up becoming a party, I got drunk and I just wanted to smoke so bad. I asked the hostess' brother, who was known to short people or drive off with money, many times to sell me a blunt.

Alcohol lowers your inhibitions and, for me, always makes me want my favorites right then and there. If you do drink and think weed will be available wherever you are, def. have some JWH-0xx-laced cigarettes or something. Maybe you're stronger than I, but when you risk going to jail, you may want to be safe and prevent urges-gone-wrong.

I am in a drug court program and my ua came back from the lab today with a positive result for jwh-018.I have never smoked any k2 or anything like k2.
 
no drug test questions.

anyway, there are now tests that can detect JWH-018. You could be violating probation by having a product which causes intoxication.
