JWH as fertilizer.....for real?

Do you think that if some growers were dosing their medical marijuana crops with JWH fertilizer that the drug itself or its metabolites would end up in the plant? I know that some would at least get stuck to the buds. Do you imagine this would have any effect on the marijuana?

I know that doping other plants is possible. Injecting L-Dopa into peyote for example will produce more mescaline. You could probably also use amino acid supplements that are precursors.


On a related subject, I worry that people are going to start dosing their weed with synthetics. Thats fine if you choose to do this yourself, but you shouldnt give people stuff without their knowledge. This stuff could turn out to be unhealthy and should only be given to people who consent to try it.
 
Has there been any research on this or reason to believe that they wouldnt produce metabolites in pot plants if it was used as an actual fertilizer? Is there a reason why we would just know it doesnt work that way?
 
The same reason sprinkling ground up mushrooms all over your plants won't make them more potent.
 
well first off its a synthetic cannabinoid.

i highly, highly doubt it would work as a fertilizer, but i dont doubt it would kill your plants :/
 
what on earth makes you think that a chemical compound added to water will be absorbed by a plant and NOT broken down? jwh may become toxic, beneficial, or waste (neutral) for the plant. what it wont do, is stay jwh-### and be present in mature flowers.
using your reasoning you can use lsd as a fertilizer to make buds more trippy...
 
It'd sit there in the soil being broken down by bacteria in the soil. It wouldn't even be absorbed because it's not water soluble.

The fertilizer thing was just a load of BS to give a "legitimate use" for the chemical.

What a nightmare it would be if that worked though, all the schwag and mids being almost undetectably spiked with a carcinogenic panic-attack-inducing garbage cannabinoid.

JWH has NEVER been said to be plant food at all.
you're thinking of Mephedrone (4mmc)

the thing about meph is that it was originally manufactured as one of the ingredients in plant fertilizers. but on its own has no use for plants whatsoever.

it was made in labs to test the action of cannabinoid compounds on the CB1 & CB2 receptors in the brain, because they cant legally use real cannabis for the studies.

seriously check out the statement on gbchems.co.uk or whatever.
they claim "we are tired of being vindicated for providing a legitimate botanical service"
(all they sold was mephedrone. no garden shears, no plant pots, no shrubs, just meph)

mate.... fuck offfffffffffff with that bs ur no foolin ANYONE!

Well, if its not even water soluble then that is an excellent reason to believe that it wont enter the plant via the roots, but it WILL lace the plants as you spray the buds with water.

It probably wont have a synergistic effect like doping cactus with L-tyrosine or L-Dopa since the compounds are not closely related, just affect the same receptors, but I know nothing about the compounds or their metabolites so I just asked this question as a shot in the dark.....Are these compounds water soluble and would they show up in your plants if somebody believed it was food for their pot plant.....I guess not.

I know a bit about chemistry, not as much as some people here, but I have not really looked at these chemicals.

This made me laugh. Really hard. Too bad I've met a lot of people claiming that they've smoked bud laced with lsd/meth/coke/<insert any fucking "street" drug here>.
