Very true! No bad thoughts. Definitely trying to just sleep through or find something to get my mind off it.I remind myself between refills that I’m in fact NOT allowed to blow my brains out from the unending physical pain and instead just eat my tizanidine and kratom capsules like a maniac

Welp, never fucking mind! My direct deposit has NOT come through. So, I’m still broke and can’t get anything. My employer has been switching pay systems, but “promised” us that our direct deposit wouldn’t be impacted. And…. Apparently it is! Fuck me dude.

Look on the bright side ( if you can ). It may not have cleared yet but it will at some point today so if you can be patient just a bit longer then you can celebrate later on.
I had this happen a few times. I sat there and obsessively checked my bank balance every 5 minutes. Pissed me the fuck off I tell ya. When it finally came through my dealer was sleeping and wouldn't answer the phone.

I’m trying to fall back asleep so I’m not thinking about it. Fingers crossed that it does post today. I have bills I also need to pay, so a bit annoyed with that as well. I am responsible and want to make sure everything is paid, and with the leftover I want some drugs.
But you’re right, I’ve been obsessively checking for the last 45 minutes. Super annoyed because t my employer said our pay wouldn’t be impacted by the switch.

Did your job happen to switch banks? Some banks clear DD at one minute after midnight on the day that it's supposed to post. Other banks don't clear the DD until after 8:01 in the morning. Like mine.
If your job switched banks it might not clear until " business hours " of said bank. Are you in the U.S. ?
Either way, maybe go back to sleep ( if you can ) and when you wake back up it will be there and hopefully your dealer will be awake as well.

It’s a whole new payroll system. I do live in the US. Upstate New York. We were switching over at the start of the week. I hope it’s just based on the bank posting it during business hours. I am going to try to sleep. Currently kind of wound up, but hopefully I’ll sleep for a bit. I’d even take a paper check if needed. As long as the money comes sooner rather than later.

Yeah it was a new web-based one. We have to have it on our phone to track where we are when we clock in/out.
