Tramadol is not a benzo, it's a (somewhat atypical) opioid. I'm not sure how long they keep for - there's no expiration date anywhere?

They work... somewhat similarly to oxycodone, but are nowhere nearly as strong. Oxycodone is one of the more stimulating opioids, but it is a very potent one, compared to tramadol which ranks between codeine and hydrocodone. It's also got mild SNRI properties. Have you got a tolerance? If not, I would suggest starting with 100-150mg, and taking more at 50mg increments (every 30-60 minutes or so) until you feel good - without a tolerance, 200-300mg should have you feeling pretty nice. Tramadol also has increased bioavailability with repeated dosing, so it's better to take it a little at a time than all at once). Don't exceed 400mg - it could make you feel quite sick, and at doses above that it's also known to induce spasms and seizures - very dangerous.
The feeling is nowhere as heavy or intense as oxycodone, but lasts for longer - feels something like a mix between an opioid and low-dose MDMA for me. I think 100mg of tramadol is about equipotent to 5mg of oxycodone.

If you aren't on any SSRI/SNRI medication, they should be pretty safe to use (except I don't know how long they stay good for - I'm assuming 2 years old tablets shuld still be safe), but watch out with combining them and anything serotonergic - that's asking for trouble.

i got some tramadol two days ago after an operation, i dosed 200mg then 100mg 1 hour later and 100mg one hour after that, its the max recommended dose in 24 hours (400mg) and because of i don't know why, when you space out the dosing, it has a stronger effet than taking it all at once....

its a very speedy opiate with lots of serotonic action and very little opioide aaction... some people finnd it rubbish, others love it... i really quite enjoyed it the other day, i was very talkative and happy, not quite euphoric in your clssical morphine or heroin way, but i defininately had a mood lift

what is your tolerance to oxy

then i would recommend you dose as i did... 200mg, then 100mg 30-60 minutes later and again 100mg 30-60minutes after that, if you like "speedy opiates" and because your tolerance isn't too high, chances are you'll quite enjoy it... i found it best in a social setting coz it really got me talking...

if you take to much there is seizure risks, but honestly i dont understand why youd bother taking it in first place unless your extremely dopesick. ive taken 200 - 400mg doses and never felt a thing.

i actually like tramadol, like people stated above....it isn't very strong especially if you use oxycodone regularly. But for a good decent buzz i take around 200-250mg at once. it doesn't really feel like oxycodone or its derivitives, but it gives you a nice relaxing feeling. nothing too over the top but nice to take and just chill and watch TV or play some ps3. I had a script for the 300mg ER tablets before and would take 2 1/2 of them at once for awhile. that hits you strong as hell. The reason they tell you not to exceed the 400mg/day dosage is because it potentiates the possibility of seizures, even more so if you are currently at risk for them. So ask with any drug, start low and slowly progress until you reach a point of satisfaction. Also, be careful! always gotta be safe :)

TRAMDOL IS NOT A BENZO, ITS AN OPIATE

I posted this in another thread:

Tramadol is sweeeeet, and this is coming from someone who has had some very unpleasent experiences with it. I've actually had four seizures on three seperate occasions and one hospital visit from my usage. Moderation and respect is definitely the key with this chemical. The last time I had a seizure, I took around 1300mg (yes, I know, fucking stupid dose) and witnesses said I had a seizure that lasted around 7-8 minutes. One of my friends who saw it happen actually vomited when she saw my skin turn a grey/white colour and my lips turn blue! That being said, when used sensibly, it can be a lot of fun. When using Tramadol, I love nothing more than to lay in bed and watch films. It gives a lovely, warm euphoria and it has an impressive duration too! For me, one dose usually lasts 8+ hours. A downside to Tramadol, especially for new users, is that it can take a hell of a long time to kick in, often 90+ minutes. This can cause many people to take more thinking they haven't consumed enough which will often lead to overdose.

Also, it's common - at least in my circle of friends - to use opiates after MDMA/Mephedrone sessions to negate comedowns. We never use Tramadol for this purpose as, aswell as being an opiate, it also releases quite a lot of serotonin and therefore, when used after these substances, poses a very real risk of serotonin syndrome. Just a friendly warning! :)

Treat it with respect, as a very thin line lies between lots of fun and potential seizures! <3

Tramadol is very, very weak. If you have any kind of opiate tolerance you will be very disappointed...

This is incorrect, do a Bluelight search on CYP2D6 polymorphisms and tramadol, you'll see that this is very subjective based on your unique liver enzymes.

I personally wouldn't use this substance at a dose of over 150mg, since it becomes too speedy after that. For me, 100mg is extremely strong, feels like 35mg hydrocodone but lasts 7-9 hours after the O-Des kicks in at t+2:00.
