Oh my fucking god! I'm so bloody happy that all that SWIM/SWIM bullshit is neither used nor tolerated here at bluelight. I've just been doing some googling on a few matters that are currently of interest to me and a great deal of the other harm reduction info websites have it plastered all over the fuckin place and it seems as though that some users seem to think it's some kind of competition to see how many times that SWIM can squeeze the acronym into SWIM's posts so as SWIY can read it with the confidence that SWIM has freed SWIM from the burden of incrimination and SWIY can rest easy the they too enjoy the same privilege all because SWIY has taken on board that SWIM has done their very best to make a feeble attempt at making out that the aren't really referring to themselves as they tell the Internet about their experiences taking shit loads of drugs with their mates at a party this weekend.
Now that that's my rant over.....
How did all that bullshit start anyway? Where did it actually originate from and surely but surely anyone with half a brain would know that if the law or any other authority was investigating them to the degree of reading what that be posted on the Internet they would know that they would most likely be needing something a little more substantial than an annoying acronym to be getting them out of the shit! !
In tried tingly, I am now wondering if there has ever been a court case where posts from one of said forums has been referenced in court and the defendant has pointed out "that's not me m'lud and it quite clearly says so right there! Look! It says SWIM! And you see, that stands for Someone Who Isn't Me, so on that basis I feel that I'm quite right to be pleading not guilty to thus offence as the kilo of coke found in the boot of SWIM's car belongs to SWIM so that's the matter easily settled isn't it?". What would be epic if the judge was a secret squirrel user and then went on to say "well young man, in this matter I find SWIY guilty and sentence SWIY to five years in prison, and oh, 6 months also for using SWIM on the Internet and polluting users screen real estate with such cap. ".
TL;DR I HATE SWIM
